Mylonas law firm objectives for the next year: Ambitions and Goals

• My BUSINESS NAME is: MYLONAS
LAW FIRM
• My MISSION is to provide International
virtual legal support and legal aid to
underprivileged people.

2. MY SMART BUSINESS GOALS
ARE:
• -Going international at the end of 2015.
That means that my company will be able
to provide consulting services to clients
from all over the world to legal matters
that are regulated by international law
regime, like business and maritime law
and getting paid through pay pal or other
similar means of payment.

3. SMART BUSINESS GOALS
• At the same time (end of 2015) I would like
for my company to have another revenue
stream, besides consulting. f.e. :
• My PhD book or another legal book on
maritime law.
• Or
• coaching services for lawyers on how to
handle legal matters, job search and difficult
clients, as well as a relevant podcast series.

4. SMART BUSINESS GOALS
• Lastly, I would like to maintain my business philosophy and
help underprivileged people through an E-legal support
system in which I will apply the principle " pay whatever you
want", or at a nominal cost.
• In this sense, I could find some topics within my areas of
expertise and provide a virtual solution for my client through
legal research. If my client still needs a local lawyer, my virtual
system will have the ability to recommend him to a competent
legal aid lawyer in the existing country. This lawyer will be
checked by me because otherwise my client would be lost in
space on which lawyer to choose. I am planning to apply this
system to two countries at first. One is Switzerland and the
other will be a country between USA, US, or Australia.

Objectives
• Finishing and publishing my PhD thesis
within a year.
• Making a podcast on international legal
matters concerning maritime and business
law.
• Start forming a net of specialized lawyers
from all over the world for the legal matters
on maritime and business law and speaking
with them to see if our mindsets match so we
could have business cooperation.

6. My Business Strategies and
Objectives
• Hiring a virtual assistant that will organise
the whole virtual team, as well as my social
media profile on FB and Tweeter.
• Writing in my blog on business and
maritime law issues. Guest blogging in two
major blogs concerning US law and
European law would be a good idea.

• Becoming a member on two or three major law reviews (f.e.
Lloyd’s law review) and in two international legal libraries. In
that way I could be able to make a research for almost any
kind of legal matter that will come along and work with my
virtual team of lawyers in order for my client to get the best
legal support.
• Getting in touch with young lawyers and their associations
and trying to understand their problems and answer any
relevant questions. In that way I could build a coaching
program applicable worldwide.
• Taking the episodes of the TV law show which I appear and
translating them into English. In that way I can make my first
podcast series and maybe presenting them for free on my blog
or site.

services and research on my areas of expertise
(business-maritime law) and I am planning from
this activity to earn 30000$ a year
• I am planning also to make an eBook (based on my
PhD in which I will try to simplify maritime law
and business matters and sell it. From this activity
I am planning to making a profit of around 3000$
for the first year.
• Legal aid: (Pay whatever you want system): 2000$
a year.

11. Personal credentials:
• I am writing a PhD which I plan to finish
within the next year.
• I Have taken part to a Greek TV show for
legal information which a plan to translate
and make it a podcast.
• I also have an LL.M on business and e-commerce
and competition law and I plan to
charge a 300$/hour fee for online services for
business entities and/or legal research on my
field of expertise.

12. Skills to build:
• I would like to take a course on how to speak on public and
improve my technical skills on making a podcast and on Word
press or social media.
• But for the last two skills (Word press-social media), I guess I
will have to rely on my VA because I cannot do it everything
myself. I will just focus on legal research writing and
networking.
• I will only take the speaking course of course!
• May be I will take a mediation certificate on maritime
arbitration (cost 3000$) because it is acknowledged world
wide and I can broaden my professional horizons.
• Alternatively that could be a legal certificate that is
acknowledged worldwide within my field of competence.
