The marketing plan is comprised of four key components: (1) an executive summary that outlines the highlights of the marketing plan, (2) a situation analysis that examines the environment in which the company operates and identifies the target market(s) in which it competes, (3) an action plan that outlines the proposed course of action to create value for its target customers, and (4) exhibits that provide additional information about specific aspects of the marketing plan. The core of the marketing plan is the action plan, which outlines the company’s goal and the proposed course of action? Because the action plan, in turn, comprises five different components—goal, strategy, tactics, implementation, and control (the G-STIC framework)—the company's action plan is often viewed in terms of eight key elements.

6. Define Goals
What are you setting out to achieve?
What problems are you trying to solve?
Break down into “SMART” objectives:
Specific
Measurable
Achievable
Realistic
Timely
7. Define Goals
Identify key metrics & set KPIs
- Downloads
- Monthly active users (MAU)
- Daily active users (DAU)
- Churn rate
- Number of sessions
- Session time
8. How to meet
the needs of the
market?
Market Research
Sort out existing products and understand existing
or potential users
Study industry reports to
understand the industry chain.
Actively follow the products of
the competitors
What is the market like? | What is the pain-point of the user? | What are the
competitors like?
9. Basic information
Product use scenarios
User behavior characteristics
User pain points
…
The better you know your target users, the better your product is
Target User Analysis
10. Demand Analysis
Development of the industry, from market research to obtain
demands;
Customer's direct feedback on product use;
Demand from network resources and competitors;
Past product’s demands;
Requirements from product itself: structure, technology,
architecture and so on;
From other departments: Operation, Marketing, Sales and so on;
From the company's strategic direction requirements
Demand Collection
11. Demand Analysis
It is best to conduct analysis and review at this stage to determine the
priority of requirements.
Arrange Priority of requirements
12. Product design
Determine the plan
The plan must be determined before the product design,
and different plans will have a greater impact on the
product design.
Define the product prototype
To increase efficiency in the product design stage;
Defining the prototype requires continuous refinement
of the plan, process and prototype with the business
side and other responsible persons.
Design UI/UX.
Write PRD
Standardize the file before writing product requirements
document (PRD). The PRD is mainly to explain the
corresponding rules of each function for R&D.
13. Product design
Plan mobile app UX & user journey
Prepare prototype
Undstand user’s needs
Incorporate features properly
Using jargon that your customers undstand
Reasonable user interface
Pay attention to the first-time experience
Creating neat & good-looking navigation
Design UI based on above UX plan and
prototype
14. Choose Development Method
Native Development
Hybrid App Development
Rapid App Development (RAD)
Cookie Cutter Apps
BuildFire
15. Requirement Review
Provide flow chart, prototype, PRD, preliminary interface document and
other materials to related teams and people.
Before reviewing
In reviewing
Present the requirements and discuss to define them, fegure out which one
is ok, or not ok? Complete the requirements after that.
After reviewing
Synchronize results: The results need to be synchronized with the business
side, superiors and other team members and specify the follow-up work
schedule and time results. R&D colleagues are required to provide a
demand schedule within 2 days after the general needs review.
Explain the requirements and review the whole plan before
developing to fix and optimize all the resources.
17. Requirements Schedule
List all the details of the requirements with time
schedule and the priority.
Schedule list
Follow up and make sure the deadline of each
requirement, then have acceptance for each of them
with the appropriate milestone.
Follow up and have acceptance for each milestone
18. Test & Verify
Test to make sure all the requirements match with
the PRD, then fix issues (if any).
Product Manager give out an operataion manual
for the operator to understand and prepare the
relevant data in advance.
In this phase, the data burrying points need to be
accepted.
19. Backend Developing
Database construction
Analyze and sort out the functional data processing situation according to
the needs, establish a reasonable database table structure, optimize the
data algorithm, improve the data processing efficiency, and ensure the
safety, accuracy, stability and timeliness of the data in the process of using
the APP.
Server development
The core processing process of the APP application is completed by the
server-side program, and the client-side APP only needs to send and
receive data. Due to the limited hardware configuration and storage
capacity of the user's mobile terminal equipment, the core data processing
process is performed by the server side. After the server processing is
completed, it is fed back to the client APP. Therefore, server-side program
development is extremely important, and all functions need to be
developed strictly in accordance with the functions organized in the
requirements analysis stage.
20. Launching
Make sure all the materials are well-prepared, include essential data.
Prepare the deployment of relevant persons in charge in advance and all
the resources such as: server, backend system, account permissions,
operation manuals and others.
Before Launching
Launching
Trial run test;
Online monitoring and timely verification; if problems occur, prioritize them
for emergency treatment.
After Launching
Production environment verification after release;
Data archiving;
Product training and summary work;
Overall project review: review the project completion, plan implementation,
change management, UI design draft, coding, testing, and release.

Lý do đơn giản là vì: 1.
