The research report Presentation addresses the stigma related to the mental health in our society. This study was intended to increase understanding of peoples’ views of mental illness by developing and administering measures of knowledge and attitudes of people toward mental illnesses.
The research conducted through questionnaires regarding the mental health stigma is reviewed and analyzed that indicates that the majority of the general public holds negative stereotypes towards people with psychological problems.
Hence, a model has been proposed to illustrate what are the peoples’ attitudes towards and knowledge about the mental health, why is it a taboo to talk about this topic, how can this stigma prevent the people from getting help for the psychological difficulties and solutions for reducing and dealing with the mental health stigma are discussed.

Questionnaire analysis

Thesis Project
This study examined the emotional availability between genders through a survey of 99 students. The survey included questions about emotionality, who they confide in, and frequency of positive and negative emotions. Results showed that females were more likely than males to consider themselves emotional, confide in others, and experience positive emotions weekly. Males preferred to keep emotions private and experienced fewer weekly mood changes. This provides evidence that females tend to be more emotionally expressive than males.

NYAAPOR: Question Wording and Questionnaire Design
A survey of over 4,000 men in New York City found that nearly 10% of men who identified as straight reported having sex with at least one man in the previous year. Compared to men who identified as gay, these men were more likely to belong to a minority group, be foreign-born, have less education, and live outside Manhattan. Seventy percent reported being married. This group was also less likely to have been tested for HIV or used a condom during sex.
Gender presentation

ihurt ACMHN conference

Teenage is a person between 13 to 18 years old. ¨The word puberty is derived from the Latin pubertas, which means adulthood. ¨Puberty is initiated by hormonal changes triggered by a part of the brain called the hypothalamus, which stimulates the pituitary gland, which in turn activates other glands as well.

Here are a few thoughts on this topic:
- Masturbation is a natural part of human sexuality and development. However, many religious and cultural traditions have stigmatized it as shameful or sinful. This stigma contributes to its taboo status.
- Open discussion of masturbation could help reduce shame and stigma. Knowing one's own body and what brings pleasure is important for sexual health and satisfaction. However, topics of human sexuality can make some people uncomfortable.
- If presented and discussed appropriately for different age groups, education about masturbation could help youth make informed decisions about their sexuality. It may reduce risks compared to other behaviors. However, determining appropriate approaches is complex with different cultural and family values.

Sexual knowledge, attitude and behavior among married
1) A questionnaire on sexual knowledge, attitudes, and behavior was distributed to married Jordanian men, but many refused to participate or complete it. Of the 200 fully completed questionnaires obtained, most had low sexual knowledge.
2) While many supported sex education and discussing sexuality, attitudes towards topics like masturbation, premarital sex, and homosexuality were mixed or confused. A majority were uncertain in their responses.
3) The study results were limited due to non-random sampling and bias from excluding illiterate men. But they indicated many married Jordanian men have poor sexual knowledge and could benefit from more sex education and discussions on these sensitive topics.

The recent surge in pro-Palestine student activism has prompted significant responses from universities, ranging from negotiations and divestment commitments to increased transparency about investments in companies supporting the war on Gaza. This activism has led to the cessation of student encampments but also highlighted the substantial sacrifices made by students, including academic disruptions and personal risks. The primary drivers of these protests are poor university administration, lack of transparency, and inadequate communication between officials and students. This study examines the profound emotional, psychological, and professional impacts on students engaged in pro-Palestine protests, focusing on Generation Z's (Gen-Z) activism dynamics. This paper explores the significant sacrifices made by these students and even the professors supporting the pro-Palestine movement, with a focus on recent global movements. Through an in-depth analysis of printed and electronic media, the study examines the impacts of these sacrifices on the academic and personal lives of those involved. The paper highlights examples from various universities, demonstrating student activism's long-term and short-term effects, including disciplinary actions, social backlash, and career implications. The researchers also explore the broader implications of student sacrifices. The findings reveal that these sacrifices are driven by a profound commitment to justice and human rights, and are influenced by the increasing availability of information, peer interactions, and personal convictions. - 4. Hypothesis My hypothesis was that: 1) Men would cry the most by themselves 2) Cry secondly around women 3) Thirdly around strangers 4) Fourthly around other men 5) Finally a few would not admit to crying
- 5. Method Survey! I chose to create a survey that was to be filled out anonymously by 50 different aged men. The questions were as follows: Have you ever cried? Have you ever cried in front of another man? A woman? A stranger? Have you cried by yourself? Why do you feel it is not acceptable to cry?
- 6. Results My results were as follows: Have you ever cried? 95% of the men said yes Have you ever cried in front of another man? 30% of the men said yes A woman? 70% of the men said yes A stranger? 20% of the men said yes Have you cried by yourself? 95% of the men said yes Why do you feel it is not acceptable to cry? For this subject the main idea found was that they clearly said men don’t cry. They said it makes them appear weak, out of control, feminine, insecure, and unstable.
- 7. Conclusion To conclude: My survey shows that some men still are set in the mind frame that crying is negative Men are most comfortable crying when no one is around They think that crying makes them everything the media and some parents have embedded in their minds is true I find this disheartening.
