campaign! We created this guide to provide the best tips
and advice on how tosuccessfully runyour Booster.

1. DECISIONS BEFORE YOU LAUNCH
Before you get started, there are a few key decisions you’ll need to make. Here are
our tips for building a solid foundation for your Booster campaign.
A two-week campaign works best.
We’ve found that 14 days is about the perfect amount of time to keep the energy high. Plus, the
shorter the campaign the sooner your supporters can start wearing their shirts.
Choose your campaign close date carefully.
Make sure you’ll have time in the last few days to attend
to your campaign. For some, weekdays are better, others
weekends... just make sure you’ll have time to promote
and remind your community to buy before the end.
Don’t set your price too low. The average online donation is around $40, and a graphic tee from
your favorite store is about $25. Keep it reasonable, but remember that each extra dollar adds to
the impact you can make.
Offer sizes for everyone.
We’ve got a huge selection of shirts ranging from
youth, adult and ladies & girly fits and sizes. Your
Booster Advisor can help you choose styles that will
fit your campaign needs.
Design a shirt that tells your story. Motivational
designs tend to win, so find the thing that is most
compelling or fun about your story and create a
design around it. If you get stuck, our artists can help.

2. THE FIRST 24 HOURS
Raise Money. Awareness. Spirits. Need Help? 855-631-6850
The secret to running a successful Booster campaign is getting off to a fast start.
Don’t announce your campaign publicly until you’ve got a few sales. Our advice is
to directly ask your closest friends, family and supporters to buy a shirt on day-one.
Buy the first shirt (or two).
Some people think buying their own shirt is cheating,
wethink itshows confidence.Thispurchasealso
signals your commitment to the cause – plus you get
a great looking shirt to wear!
Rally your Inner Circle (15 sure-thing supporters).
Reach out to the 15 people that you can count on to support you in whatever you do. Ask them
to spread the word about your campaign to their community and Facebook friends.
Ask your Inner Circle to buy on day-one. Individually call or email them to explain that their
purchase will help your campaign build the momentum it needs to succeed. Tellthem why the
cause means so much to you and how it will make a difference. Make sure you ask them to
support you the day your Booster opens.

3. PUBLIC LAUNCH & PROMOTION
Now that your Booster has built up momentum, it’s time to start sharing it publicly.
Email and Facebook are typically the most impactful tools, but Twitter and Pinterest
are great channels for getting the word out about your campaign as well.
Make the big announcement by email first.
Explain why you’re moved to support this cause, or why you’re raising money for this project or
passion. Don’t forget to include a link to your Booster.
A few hours later, announce your Booster on Facebook. Post about your campaign on your
own Facebook page. You can even tag early supporters in the post and thank them. Make sure
you always include your campaign link in any posts.
Post at least every other day.
People need to hear and see something multiple
times before they will take action. Give the broad
strokes in your initial email, and then try to hit on
one specific topic in each additional email and
Facebook post.
Here are a few angles to cover:
• Explainwhy the cause is important to you.
• Highlight who will benefit from the funds.
• Tell the story behind your t-shirt design.
• Mark major milestones. For instance, celebrate when you’re halfway to your goal.
• Create a sense of urgency. “Only 7 days left to grab a shirt and support [Insert cause]!”
Start sending Thank Younotes. There’s no need to
wait until the end. Each Thank Youis a perfect
opportunity to ask supporters to share the link to
yourcampaign ontheirownFacebookpage.Ask
them to include the reason why they supported the
causeintheirpost.

4. THE FINAL 3 DAYS
By now your goal should be in sight. You’ve done a great job promoting your
Booster, but it’s likely that there are still people out there who planned to support
you – they just need some motivation. Now’s your chance to bring them home.
Personally reach out to your network in the last 3 days.
Send individual notes to friends that have yet to support the campaign. Include reasons for
requesting their support and provide updates on the progress the campaign is making.
Ask your buyers to spread the word one last time. They
supported you, so they understand your goals and want to
help you achieve them. Thank them again for their sup-
port, and then ask them for this last favor.
Have a game plan for your final day. Campaigns officially end at 11:59pm ET, but consider
communicatinganearlierdeadline,like9pm,whenpeople arestillawakeandonline.
Start a countdown on the last day.
Provide real-time, hourly updates on progress toward
your goal. The last few hours of your campaign are an
exciting time, and we recommend creating a sense of
urgency on Facebook. Ensure that your entire commu-
nity knows that this is their last chance to support the
cause and get the shirt
Congrats, you did it! We’ll take it from here. Your Booster Advisor will be in touch over the next
few days with the final tally and profits... make sure you tell your supporters how the campaign
performed. This is also a great time to send out any outstanding Thank You notes to show your
appreciation and support.

  • 1. PLAYBOOKTips for Running aSuccessful Booster We're excited you'vedecidedto startaBooster campaign! We created this guide to provide the best tips and advice on how tosuccessfully runyour Booster. Raise Money. Awareness. Spirits.
  • 2. 1. DECISIONS BEFORE YOU LAUNCH Before you get started, there are a few key decisions you’ll need to make. Here are our tips for building a solid foundation for your Booster campaign. A two-week campaign works best. We’ve found that 14 days is about the perfect amount of time to keep the energy high. Plus, the shorter the campaign the sooner your supporters can start wearing their shirts. Choose your campaign close date carefully. Make sure you’ll have time in the last few days to attend to your campaign. For some, weekdays are better, others weekends... just make sure you’ll have time to promote and remind your community to buy before the end. Don’t set your price too low. The average online donation is around $40, and a graphic tee from your favorite store is about $25. Keep it reasonable, but remember that each extra dollar adds to the impact you can make. Offer sizes for everyone. We’ve got a huge selection of shirts ranging from youth, adult and ladies & girly fits and sizes. Your Booster Advisor can help you choose styles that will fit your campaign needs. Design a shirt that tells your story. Motivational designs tend to win, so find the thing that is most compelling or fun about your story and create a design around it. If you get stuck, our artists can help. Raise Money. Awareness.   • 3. 2. THE FIRST 24 HOURS Raise Money. Awareness. Spirits. Need Help? 855-631-6850 The secret to running a successful Booster campaign is getting off to a fast start. Don’t announce your campaign publicly until you’ve got a few sales. Our advice is to directly ask your closest friends, family and supporters to buy a shirt on day-one. Buy the first shirt (or two). Some people think buying their own shirt is cheating, wethink itshows confidence.Thispurchasealso signals your commitment to the cause – plus you get a great looking shirt to wear! Rally your Inner Circle (15 sure-thing supporters). Reach out to the 15 people that you can count on to support you in whatever you do. Ask them to spread the word about your campaign to their community and Facebook friends. Ask your Inner Circle to buy on day-one. Individually call or email them to explain that their purchase will help your campaign build the momentum it needs to succeed. Tellthem why the cause means so much to you and how it will make a difference. Make sure you ask them to support you the day your Booster opens.
  • 4. Raise Money. Awareness. Spirits. Need Help? 855-631-6850 3. PUBLIC LAUNCH & PROMOTION Now that your Booster has built up momentum, it’s time to start sharing it publicly. Email and Facebook are typically the most impactful tools, but Twitter and Pinterest are great channels for getting the word out about your campaign as well. Make the big announcement by email first. Explain why you’re moved to support this cause, or why you’re raising money for this project or passion. Don’t forget to include a link to your Booster. A few hours later, announce your Booster on Facebook. Post about your campaign on your own Facebook page. You can even tag early supporters in the post and thank them. Make sure you always include your campaign link in any posts. Post at least every other day. People need to hear and see something multiple times before they will take action. Give the broad strokes in your initial email, and then try to hit on one specific topic in each additional email and Facebook post. Here are a few angles to cover: • Explainwhy the cause is important to you. • Highlight who will benefit from the funds. • Tell the story behind your t-shirt design. • Mark major milestones. For instance, celebrate when you’re halfway to your goal. • Create a sense of urgency. “Only 7 days left to grab a shirt and support [Insert cause]!” Start sending Thank Younotes. There’s no need to wait until the end. Each Thank Youis a perfect opportunity to ask supporters to share the link to yourcampaign ontheirownFacebookpage.Ask them to include the reason why they supported the causeintheirpost.
  • 5. Raise Money. Awareness. Spirits. Need Help? 855-631-6850 4. THE FINAL 3 DAYS By now your goal should be in sight. You’ve done a great job promoting your Booster, but it’s likely that there are still people out there who planned to support you – they just need some motivation. Now’s your chance to bring them home. Personally reach out to your network in the last 3 days. Send individual notes to friends that have yet to support the campaign. Include reasons for requesting their support and provide updates on the progress the campaign is making. Ask your buyers to spread the word one last time. They supported you, so they understand your goals and want to help you achieve them. Thank them again for their sup- port, and then ask them for this last favor. Have a game plan for your final day. Campaigns officially end at 11:59pm ET, but consider communicatinganearlierdeadline,like9pm,whenpeople arestillawakeandonline. Start a countdown on the last day. Provide real-time, hourly updates on progress toward your goal. The last few hours of your campaign are an exciting time, and we recommend creating a sense of urgency on Facebook. Ensure that your entire commu- nity knows that this is their last chance to support the cause and get the shirt Congrats, you did it! We’ll take it from here. Your Booster Advisor will be in touch over the next few days with the final tally and profits... make sure you tell your supporters how the campaign performed. This is also a great time to send out any outstanding Thank You notes to show your appreciation and support.
