In the year 2015-16, 46% of seats were vacant in Technical Education in India. The purpose of this paper is to highlight holistic marketing approach with promotion mix on diversified enrollments to motivate enrollments in selecting institute of Technical education.

the rural region. More than 20% of Indian youth between the ages of 15 and 24 years are “seeking
or available for work,” as per 2011 census data. There will be no peace and prosperity in the
country unless jobless people get appropriate channel. In India deficiency of skills is among the
main constraints for recruitment of Technical Education. Productivity of Technical Education in
not entirely absorbed due to lack of skills required by the employers. Along with the ample
arguments, taking place in recent times, regarding reformation in the productivity of Technical
Education, this present study syndicates focus on services delivered and its impact on employability
skills. The objective of this paper is to find out whether Technical Education institutes in rural part
are keen to focus on the employability skills? The paper also focuses on distinguished skills
required by the employer for recruitment. The study also emphases on the services offered by the
Institutes and their correlation on skills development.
Design methodology
A qualitative research survey through a structured questionnaire for the students who are
studying or have recently completed their Technical Education affiliated to the North Maharashtra
University, Jalgaon was conducted which is situated in rural part of India.
Findings
The study discusses umpteen employability skills and explains how embedding services of
technical education are correlated to the growth and development of employability skills. The study
finds that these services results in comprehensive and cohesiveness of employability skills.
Research limitations
The survey is delimited to the Technical Education belonging to North Maharashtra University,
Jalgaon and located in rural of India.

Strategic planning is a relatively new concept for non-profit organizations (Bryson (1995) and
Nawawi (2000)). Strategic planning is needed in order that organizations can offer better service quality for their
customers and for the sustainability of their organizations. Nonprofit organizations have people who are focused
on achieving specific goals of their organizations (Ireland: 1999: 96-99). Their activities are indeed limited to
the budget and a constant need to raise funds through donations and assistance. When discussing about quality,
the first thing to consider is to get rid of the notions1) that nonprofit organizations cannot work like business
organizations, 2) that non-profit organizations cannot measure their performance, and 3) that quality
improvement techniques cannot be applied to non-profit organizations.
This research was in the form of a case study with Sekolah Tinggi Indonesia Membangun (STIE INABA) as the
research subject. The research method used was research and development. Research and development can be
defined as a process or steps to develop a new product or improve existing products that are accountable.
Based on the results of the analysis of the data collected, it can be concluded that the performance measurements
that had been applied produced less information and less effective strategic planning. IT Balance Scorecard was
used to analyze the relevance of the performance measurement indicators that had been established with the
Vision, Mission, and strategic objectives of STIE INABA. STIE INABA needs to build an information system
in the form of E-learning to support teaching and learning activities
Role of Pre-Employment Training in Enhancing Employability of Diploma EngineersINFOGAIN PUBLICATION
This paper presents an empirical study conducted to find out the role of pre-employment training in enhancement of employability. The study was specifically focused upon the automobile cluster employing the fresh engineering diploma holders. The universe of the study consisted of 26 such industries. Stratified random sampling technique was employed for drawing the sample classified into two groups: - 1) Managerial level and 2) Supervisory level consisting of engineering diploma holders. Standardized scales were administered to 572 Ss out of which 12 responses were dropped down, and 560 Ss were retained in the final sample put to experimentation. Descriptive and analytical research techniques were applied for the analysis of the data collected during the experiment. Statistical tools like ‘Cronbach alpha coefficient’, ‘Pearson correlation coefficient’, ‘Analysis of variance (ANOVA)’ etc were employed for treatment of the collected data for drawing the useful conclusions and testing of the hypotheses. From the experimental analysis the employability of diploma engineers was found to be associated with pre-employment training. Such a study focused on the fresh engineering diploma holders employable by the industries has yet not been reported in the literature.

Development of Instructional Model Based on Indonesian National Qualification...IJAEMSJORNAL
This study aims to develop a learning model based on the framework of Indonesia's national qualifications in an effort to improve students' vocational high school soft skills in North Sumatra Province. In particular, this study aims to (1) find soft skills that are in accordance with the needs of the world of work through needs analysis from various sources (stakeholders) and library studies, (2) find the basis of KKNI-based learning models through design based on the results of needs analysis and library studies. (3) finding the effectiveness of the learning model through testing the learning model on a limited and broad scale, (4) and disseminating the developed learning model to the teachers of Technology Vocational Schools in North Sumatra Province. This research uses development research methods, carried out directly with descriptive data collection that processes and analyzes inductive data. To produce operational products, namely the Indonesian National Qualification Framework (KKNI) based learning model, a cycle of research and development was carried out known as "the R & D cycle" which was carried out in stages over a period of three years. In the first year research, survey methods were used through needs analysis. The second year, the trial method was used through expert review procedures, one-on-one trials, small group trials, and field trials (first class). In the third year using a quasi-experimental method with the design of "Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design", for a broader scale and method of dissemination. The population of this research is the State Technology Vocational School students in the field of technology and engineering expertise in North Sumatra Province. The research sample was taken by area randomly. Data collection techniques used in this study were non-test techniques and test techniques. The non-test techniques used were questionnaire techniques, interviews, and documentation. The test technique used is the appearance test technique (performance test). The data analysis techniques used are (1) descriptive analysis to describe the data analysis of the needs and results of the trial data, and (2) One Way Anova test to determine the differences in the effectiveness of the teaching materials tested.

There is need to increase the quality in the higher educational institutions. Quality

present study has extracted seven factors by using exploratory factor analysis on
student’s perception. These factors are Digitization of Academic Awards, Campus
Placement, Extracurricular Activities, Infrastructure and Resources, Seminar and
Industrial Visits, Teaching Skills and Students Support System which will be useful for
the educational planners and the administrators in designing a more effective system
that can be valuable to improve the overall productivity of academics in higher
education. Therefore, this research has emphasized that government need to
concentrate on improving the enrollment of the students under NAD and a proper
focus will have to be given on policies and strategies to appoint high quality faculty by
the academicians.
This study is aiming to investigate influencing factor of entrepreneurship collaborative learning performances by using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling approach (PLS-SEM). A hypothetical conceptual model for improving entrepreneurship learning performance develop based on the previous study, which composed of four enablers called university’s vision and mission, entrepreneurial background lecturer, strong culture and rewards system.The methodology used to test the conceptual model was delivering the questionnaire survey to 72 (seventy two) lecturers in business field. The unit analysis of this study is the universities, both public and private universities in South of Tangerang. Sample was selected using simple random sampling. The questionnaires were developed from the past studies in similar area of entrepreneurship in higher education, before distributed to the respondents. The findings from this study provide insight to construction that the relationships of variable vision and mission to effectiveness have path coefficient value 0.195 and the lecture background is 0.040. Meanwhile, reward and culture shows stronger influence to Entrepreneurship collaborative Learning Effectiveness with the patch coefficient values are 0.296 and 0.335.

The purpose of this study was to identify the job competency in the field of electricity that was taught
in Vocational School (SMK). This research used research and development method. Based on conceptual and
procedures, this research and development was carried out referring to the model of SCID. It was summarized
in four stages: initial assessment, design, realization and evaluation. The development procedure started with a
need analysis of the competence of electricity in workforce and evaluated in several schools to get a response
about their learning needs. These results were then validated conceptually by experts. It showed that the job
competence profiles that were developed by Dacum identification technique were valid and reliable to be used
because it was practical and effective

This study aims to develop a learning model based on the framework of Indonesia's national qualifications in an effort to improve students' vocational high school soft skills in North Sumatra Province. In particular, this study aims to (1) find soft skills that are in accordance with the needs of the world of work through needs analysis from various sources (stakeholders) and library studies, (2) find the basis of KKNI-based learning models through design based on the results of needs analysis and library studies. (3) finding the effectiveness of the learning model through testing the learning model on a limited and broad scale, (4) and disseminating the developed learning model to the teachers of Technology Vocational Schools in North Sumatra Province. This research uses development research methods, carried out directly with descriptive data collection that processes and analyzes inductive data. To produce operational products, namely the Indonesian National Qualification Framework (KKNI) based learning model, a cycle of research and development was carried out known as "the R & D cycle" which was carried out in stages over a period of three years. In the first year research, survey methods were used through needs analysis. The second year, the trial method was used through expert review procedures, one-on-one trials, small group trials, and field trials (first class). In the third year using a quasi-experimental method with the design of "Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design", for a broader scale and method of dissemination. The population of this research is the State Technology Vocational School students in the field of technology and engineering expertise in North Sumatra Province. The research sample was taken by area randomly. Data collection techniques used in this study were non-test techniques and test techniques. The non-test techniques used were questionnaire techniques, interviews, and documentation. The test technique used is the appearance test technique (performance test). The data analysis techniques used are (1) descriptive analysis to describe the data analysis of the needs and results of the trial data, and (2) One Way Anova test to determine the differences in the effectiveness of the teaching materials tested.

present study has extracted seven factors by using exploratory factor analysis on
student’s perception. These factors are Digitization of Academic Awards, Campus
Placement, Extracurricular Activities, Infrastructure and Resources, Seminar and
Industrial Visits, Teaching Skills and Students Support System which will be useful for
the educational planners and the administrators in designing a more effective system
that can be valuable to improve the overall productivity of academics in higher
education. Therefore, this research has emphasized that government need to
concentrate on improving the enrollment of the students under NAD and a proper
focus will have to be given on policies and strategies to appoint high quality faculty by
the academicians.
This study is aiming to investigate influencing factor of entrepreneurship collaborative learning performances by using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling approach (PLS-SEM). A hypothetical conceptual model for improving entrepreneurship learning performance develop based on the previous study, which composed of four enablers called university’s vision and mission, entrepreneurial background lecturer, strong culture and rewards system.The methodology used to test the conceptual model was delivering the questionnaire survey to 72 (seventy two) lecturers in business field. The unit analysis of this study is the universities, both public and private universities in South of Tangerang. Sample was selected using simple random sampling. The questionnaires were developed from the past studies in similar area of entrepreneurship in higher education, before distributed to the respondents. The findings from this study provide insight to construction that the relationships of variable vision and mission to effectiveness have path coefficient value 0.195 and the lecture background is 0.040. Meanwhile, reward and culture shows stronger influence to Entrepreneurship collaborative Learning Effectiveness with the patch coefficient values are 0.296 and 0.335.

The purpose of this study was to identify the job competency in the field of electricity that was taught
in Vocational School (SMK). This research used research and development method. Based on conceptual and
procedures, this research and development was carried out referring to the model of SCID. It was summarized
in four stages: initial assessment, design, realization and evaluation. The development procedure started with a
need analysis of the competence of electricity in workforce and evaluated in several schools to get a response
about their learning needs. These results were then validated conceptually by experts. It showed that the job
competence profiles that were developed by Dacum identification technique were valid and reliable to be used
because it was practical and effective

The present paper raises these questions that how is the state of knowledge strategy in Iran’s public organizations now (Electricity Industry) and how should be the state of knowledge strategy in Iran’s public organizations (Electricity Industry) until horizon 2025 and also what is the combination of optimal knowledge strategies to fill the knowledge gaps in the Iran’s public organizations (Electricity Industry). The purpose of these questions is to identify and explain knowledge strategies and also make strategic change in the current knowledge management in public organizations in order to fill the gap between the perceived situation of perspective horizon and current situation of knowledge management proportional to prevailing conditions in public organizations. In order to determine the knowledge strategies in public organizations, at first the main assumptions of knowledge strategy design in both areas of internal environment and external environment were considered and by using Fuzzy Delphi method, opportunities, threats, strengths and weaknesses of knowledge were identified and then knowledge strategies were identified by using the experts opinion and prioritized by technique of Network Analysis. Statistical population of this study is public organizations in Electricity Industry that 137 samples were selected randomly and by using questionnaires with help of Gap Analysis, the difference between current and desired situation was identified. According to the Gap Analysis that is done in four axes of knowledge strategy, some actions are proposed in the form of Forty-nine solutions to improve the current situation and reduce the gap.
Influence of Knowledge Management Processes on Organizational Performance in ...inventionjournals
This research attempts to establish a link between knowledge management processes and organizational performance in knowledge intensive service sectors. The key dimensions of knowledge management processes have been identified which could influence the organizational performance. Metric has been developed for the empirical investigation of the relationships between these research constructs. Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) using partial least square techniques has been used to test these hypotheses with a sample size of 491 knowledge workers (330 - Higher educational institutions and 161 from the IT companies) to investigate the empirical relationships between the factors. All the four hypotheses were supported. The testing of the hypotheses justified the identification of the key dimensions of KM as the critical success factors in terms of the organizational performance. Implications of the study would enable the strategic planning managers to make their knowledge management processes more effective so as to enhance the organizational performance

This article has two objectives: The first is to provide an overview of knowledge management and highlight the importance of this field of practice, and the second is to provide a case study of the successful implementation of knowledge management in a federal government organization in the United Arab Emirates. This article outlines the adopted approach and framework and elaborates on each of the implemented components. The presented case study and lessons learned are benchmarks for best practices and contribute to the existing experimental cases. This, in turn, should help organizations and researchers to better understand how public sector government organizations perceive and practicing knowledge management, which should enable them to reflect and propose improvements.

However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.

importance attached to the field, many organizations are turning to knowledge
management initiatives and technologies to leverage their knowledge resources.
“Knowledge management: Tools & Techniques” is an attempt to bring before the
readers various tools and strategies in Knowledge management. In this endeavor, the
book explains each tools and strategy with reference to Knowledge management in
various organization and industries. Through deep investigation, the book brings to the
fore findings through analysis of Knowledge management in many organization and
industries.
The book has been divided into eight units. The book highlights the tools and
techniques of knowledge management in different areas like Beverage Industry, Law,
Public Transport Corporation., Telecommunication Industry, Public Organization, School
and Catering Industry. Each part of the book consist of research paper, article and case
studies.

2. The first unit focuses on the implementation of knowledge management (KM) in
beverage industry in Asia. Various KM tools and strategies employed by food and
beverage organizations are discussed in worldwide aspect. It can help getting an
overview of the environment of the industry. Problems solved by those tools and
strategies are mentioned too. Real cases of e-learning portal establishment in an Asianbased beverage company are investigated to get deeper understanding on the
planning, implementation, maintenance and evaluation of KM project. Future
development trend of KM on an industry-wide base are covered as well.
The second unit is related to knowledge management in a Law Enforcement.
The increased adoption of information technology within law enforcement units and the
increasing of overall quality and information technology competence of law enforcement
officers, law enforcement units are well positioned to leverage knowledge management
principles and practices. This complemented by the enhanced skills, equipment and
empowerment given to the officers that will enable them to perform their duties at an
optimal level. In discussing the scope of knowledge management in law enforcement
units, Luen and Al-Hawamdeh (2001) mentioned two definitions of knowledge within the
context of knowledge management. There are two types of knowledge that need to be
managed within law enforcement units, explicit knowledge and tacit knowledge
The third unit focuses on Customer Knowledge Management (CKM) System in
a public Transport Corporation. In this unit the author has investigated how the concept
of CKM is implemented in the Asian public transport organization. An organization’s
understanding of the importance of customer knowledge will encourage the expansion
of its current knowledge management practices to beyond the organizational boundary.
The fourth unit is on role of Knowledge Management in telecommunication
industry. This report first presents briefly the importance of knowledge management to
the telecommunication industry; then it proceeds with a literature review that covers the
following

adopted the case study method approach with semi-structured interview with a senior
knowledge management consultant.
The fifth unit is on Knowledge Management Strategies in Public Organization.
There is relatively little information on knowledge management in the public sectors,
thus the knowledge management theories and frameworks applied in the public sectors
are not well understood. This report aims to study on the knowledge management
strategies in public organizations in Asia.

sixth
unit
is
about
Strategies
and
implementation
of
KM
in
telecommunication industry In this unit case study is used to illustrate some benefits in
KM Implementation like knowledge sharing allows staff tom learn other’s experience
and e-learning cultivates the self –learning motivation.
The author focuses on the tools and strategies the various organizations
employed and how the operational problems being solved and the improvement being
made after engaging such tools and strategies. The review also discusses the future
trend and development of knowledge management.
The seventh unit is related to KM in a school. A secondary school in Hong Kong is
used to see how KM support leaning and teaching. Although there has been a great
deal of recognition in the business world that information and knowledge management
can be vital tools in organizations, it is only recently that educational administrators and
teachers have begun to look at how they might use information systems to assist in
creating effective learning environments. This chapter explores how knowledge
management can be applied into school environment.
The last unit is about Knowledge management in Catering Industry. This unit
focuses how KM is important for facing competition and survives. In this section the
Chinese dining corporation is studied to find out how KM is implemented in catering
industry.
In my view, this book is a significant development for the field of knowledge.
Areas like Beverage Industry, Law, Public Transport Telecommunication, Catering and

4. school is cover in this book. In this book new concepts are explained with additional
examples. The main limitation of the book is that all the cases and papers discussed in
this book is not related with Indian context. The language used in some units is also not
clear. There is also problem of organization of various units. Other important area like
marketing, HRM Government sector etc. should also be used for making the book more
effective.
The overall book is view is good .The book is based on KM research and details how to
develop a meaningful and measurable KM strategy. I found particularly helpful the
detailed discussion in the various chapters of the book
