The Blue Eye technology aims to provide extraordinary perceptual abilities for human-computer interaction by monitoring an operator's conscious brain, physiological conditions, and triggering user-defined actions. It uses various sensors like eye tracking, touch recognition, and emotion recognition connected to a central system unit for data acquisition, analysis, visualization and logging via Bluetooth. While not achieving 100% accuracy currently and the hardware being bulky and expensive, Blue Eye technology shows potential for applications in vehicle safety, household robots, and more by helping prevent dangerous accidents through monitoring of human factors.

- This gives the slight hint about the concept “The Blue Eyes Technology” Imagine that you are watching television and you want to switch to channel no. say for eg. 74 and instead of doing it by remote control or manually……….you juz hav to say “CHANNEL 74” and it automatically switches to channel 74……how cool and easy that would be…………..!! This would be possible by adding extraordinary perceptual abilities to our machines……..!! And hence the “Blue eyes Technology” aims at creating such computational machines….!! It uses camera, microphone etc to identify users’ action and emotions
- Now we would see what blue eyes technology actually means…..!! What exactly is blue eyes……?? 1)The complex solution for human – operator monitoring In simple language it means, giving human power and abilities to computer 2) And for doing so – the following qualities should be embedded within a machine i) Consious brain operator monitoring ii) Triggering user defined action iii) Data recording
- Now you must having a doubt in your mind that why it is called as BLUE EYES technology…..!! So here’s the answer….!! The word blue is taken from bluetooth Since the operation of the machines embedded with the blue eyes technology is based on the BLUETOOTH….!! and how it works will be explained in the later slides……..!! The wireless data acqusition is done using the bluetooth technology……………!! And eye is from the Eye movement………!! and the working of this will also be explained in later slides……..!!

- Now….Facial recognition…..!! The picture you are seeing is actually a software which recognise the mood of a particular person………!! through the inbuilt algorithms and programs the computer can justify of the mood of the person i.e if he/she is happy or sad or angry, surprise and accordingly do the operations like playing soft music if you are sad or angry. 2) Nowdays Facebook and orkut are common with everyone….!! When we upload the photos over facebook and orkut, it automatically shuffles the photos a particular in one bunch and of others in other……!!
- Here are the different
- Like human have five sense organs emotion mouse is designed with five sensors to sense the different moods of user..
- The words spoken by the user are searched and scanned through the memory of the computer and the best match is output is selected. The user speaks to the computer through the microphone Pattern matching is designed to look for the best fit because of the variations in loudness, pitch, frequency difference, time gap etc.
- Image of pupil of user’s eye is tracked using an infrared light source
- MAGIC: MAGIC pointing is the technique of tracking eye movement of the user and perform the desired operation. Another technology termed as magic (manual and gaze input cascaded) pointing used eyes in conjunction with hands. When the user stares at a specific area on the screen and touches the mouse simultaneously the cursor moves automatically to the area that the user is currently looking at with an accuracy of 1.27 cm (0,5 inch). In this the gaze tracking camera follow your eyes, but your fingers have to be involved as well. When you use gaze initiated cursor, you just look at the screen and touch the input device and the cursor moves close to where you are looking and then you make the final adjustment with the input device.

- The BLUE EYES technology ensures a convenient way of simplifying the life by providing more delicate and user friendly facilities in computing devices. Now that we have proven the method, the next step is to improve the hardware. Instead of using cumbersome modules to gather information about the user, it will be better to use smaller and less intrusive units. The day is not far when this technology will push its way into your house hold, making you more lazy.
