OBJECTIVE:

Blue Eye Technology aims at creating computational
devices that have both perceptual and sensory abilities like
those of human beings.
INTRODUCTION:

 Is it possible to create a computer which can interact with us as
we interact each other?

 Use camera and microphone to identify user actions and emotions.
Blue Eye stands
for…..

                              Blue eye
                Eye for eye technology
                movement
                provides …….
    Blue from information
    Bluetooth about the
                user.
PARTS OF BLUE EYES SYSTEM:

There are two mains units of BLUE EYES system which enables
the system to acquire the data and manipulate it.

They are:

 DATA ACQUISITION UNIT.

 CENTRAL SYSTEM UNIT.
DATA ACQUISITION UNIT:

 Fetches physiological data from the sensor and send it
to CSU for processing.

 Device must manage Bluetooth wireless connection.

 Bluetooth provides personal area network linking the
operator and the CSU.
CENTRAL SYSTEM UNIT:

 Hardware part interfaced with the PC via a USB
cable.

 All the processing is done in CSU Managing
wireless communication between DAU and CSU.

 Buffers incoming raw sensor data and analysis it
Monitored data is stored.
LITERATURE REVIEW-
DIFFERENT TECHNIQUE USED:

 Emotion mouse.

 Manual and Gaze Input Cascaded(MAGIC).

 Artificial Intelligence Speech Recognition.

 Simple user Interest Tracker(SUITOR).
EMOTION MOUSE:
 Obtains information by the touch of the user.

 Physiological data is obtained and emotional
  state is determined.

 User model is built to determine the
  personality of the user.
MANUAL AND GAGE INPUT CASCADING (MAGIC)
POINTING:

 Webcam is used to quickly determine the
glints and pupils of the user under variable and
  realistic lightning conditions.
To warp the cursor to every new object user
  looks at.
 User take control of the target by hand near
the target or ignore it and search for next.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLEGENT SPEECH
RECOGNITION:
 User speaks to the computer through microphone.

 Filtered and stored in RAM.

 Input words are scanned and matched against internally
stored words .

 Identification causes some action to be taken.

Pattern matching is designed to look for the best fit because of
variations in loudness, pitch, frequency difference, time gap etc
SIMPLE USER INTEREST TRACKER(SUITOR):

BLUE EYE enabled SUITOR becomes active when the user makes an
eye contact and automatically detect users area of interest and start
searching it.

 Help by fetching more information at desktop.

Notice where the user’s eyes focus on the screen

For ex: If reading headline ,pops up the story in the browser window.
BLUE EYE ENABLED DEVICES:

 Pod cars

 Pong robots

 Emotional IPod

 Smart phone
 POD CARS

              PONG ROBOTS
 EMOTIONAL IPOD

                    SMART PHONE
PROBLEM DEFINITION:

User can click an object on the screen, but cant right
click.

 Not 100% accuracy.

System is bulky, Needs minimization.

 Expensive.
ADVANTAGES :

Physiological condition monitoring(pulse rate, blood
oxygenation).

User’s position’s detector.

 Reduces manual work.

 Increases efficiency.
CONCLUSION:

In the future, ordinary household devices -- such as televisions,
refrigerators, and ovens -- may be able to do their jobs when we
look at them and speak to them.

 Provide more delicate and user friendly facilities in computing
devices.
