INTRODUCTION
 Aims at creating computational machines that
have sensory abilities like those of human
beings.
 Use camera and microphone to identify user
actions and emotions.
HISTORY:WHY BLUE EYES
 To avoid and reduce human limitations such as:
 Tiredness
 Oversight
 Mental illness , etc …
 Monitoring of conclusions brain involvements(automation, long driving)
 To built a machine that can understand your emotions
 Verify your identity, feels your presence and interact with you.
WHAT IS BLUE EYES
 BLUE :The term stands for Bluetooth ,which enables reliable wireless
communication.
 EYES :Because the eye movement enables us to obtain a lot of interesting
and important information.
 Bluetooth device + Eyes tracking devices.
IMPLEMENTATION
 Blue eyes uses sensing technology to
identify a users actions and to extract key
information.
 Information is then analyzed to determine
the user’s physical, emotional, or
informational state.
TECHNOLOGIES:
 Emotion Mouse
 Manual And Gaze Input Cascaded(MAGIC)
 Artificial Intelligent Speech Recognition
 Simple User Interest Tracker(SUITOR)
 The eye movement Sensor
EMOTION MOUSE
 Emotion mouse sense the mood by
analysing pressure , temperature
and heart beat of the user.
 Analyzing these parameters six
types of mood can be sensed by
computer.
HOW IT WORKS
 Like humans have five
sense organs , emotion
mouse is designed with
five sensors to sense the
different moods of user.
MAGIC
 Webcam is used to quickly determine
the glints and pupils of the user under
variable and realistic lightning
conditions.
 MAGIC pointing is the technique of
tracking eye movement of the user and
perform the desired operations.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENT
SPEECH RECOGNITION
 Input words are scanned and
watched against internally stored
words.
 User speaks to the computer
through microphone.
 Pattern matching is designed to
look for the best fit because of
variation in loudness , pitch,
frequency difference ,time gap
etc.
THE EYE MOVEMENT SENSOR DESIGN
 A personal area network for linking all the operators and the supervising
system
 Two major units :
• DAU(Data Acquisition Unit)
• CSU(Central System Unit)
COMPARISION BETWEEN BLUE EYES AND
ROBOTICS
 Blue eyes technology aims at creating a computer that have the abilities to
understand the perceptual powers of human being by recognizing their facial
expressions and react according to them.
 Robotics on the other hand is used to develop machines that can substitute for
humans , Robots can be used in any situation and for any purpose.
APPLICATIONS
 In automobile industry
 In video games
 To create “Face Responsive Display” and “Perceptive Environment “
generic control rooms
 Power station
 Flight control centres
 Operating theatres
ADVANTAGES & DISADVANTAGES
ADVANTAGES
• Physiological condition monitoring
• Reduce manual work
• Increase efficiency
DISADVANTAGES
• Not 100% accurate
• System is bulky, needs minimization.
• Expensive
CONCLUSION
 In the future ,ordinary household devices such as televisions, refrigerators , and ovens
may be able to do their jobs when we look at them and speak to them.
 Provide more delicate and user friendly facilities in computer devices.
 Gap between the electronics and physical world is reduced.
 The computer can be run using implicit commands instead.
THANK YOU
