Tablet PCs are portable computers that can be used with a pen or finger as input devices. They run standard PC operating systems and have touchscreens. Tablet PCs are being used increasingly in education and healthcare due to their mobile form factor and touch interfaces. In education, they provide long battery life, portability, and tools for digital reading and multimedia. In healthcare, they are used for patient education and rehabilitation as well as pharmaceutical applications. 1. Tablet PCs A tablet personal computer or tablet PC is a tablet-sized computer that also has the key features of a full-size personal computer. A tablet PC is essentially a small laptop computer, equipped with a rotatable touch screen as an additional input device, and running a standard (or lightly adapted) PC operating system. Today, the term tablet is also used to refer to computer-like devices operated primarily by a touch screen but not intended to run general PC operating systems or applications. 7. Dell Streak A 5 Inch Tablet PC from Dell. The Dell Streak maybe called as a mobile phone or as a Tablet PC, its left to the perceiver.

8. Samsung Tab After the Success of their Samsung Galaxy S, Samsung has launched Samsung Tab, which is again powered by Android. Which means consumers can enjoy all the Apps that they find interesting in the Android Market.

Asus EEE Tablet Asus is the one who took this Netbook thing to the next level, prior to that there was nothing like a 9inch Computer and when they launched every company started following them, Asus presented their 9Inch Tablet PC which is powered by Android. Again a cooler thing for Android users.

10. Google HTC Tablet This Google HTC Tablet is said to be a Rumor, but one cannot be sure if it’s Google, they can launch a product the very next day. Like Google Nexus One was once called a rumored phone but it was launched soon. So we can expect a Google HTC Tablet in near future.

11. The $35 Tablet Pc from India The $35 Tablet PC from India. Yes, it’s the Cheapest of All and it’s very real. It runs on Android and is capable of doing almost everything which other Tablet PC which are mentioned above can do.

12. Motorola Xoom The Xoom supports up to 720p video playback. It features a 2 MP front-facing camera for video chatting over Wi-Fi or cellular Internet and a rear-facing 5 MP camera that records 720p video. The Xoom has a 1280×800 PX widescreen, 10.1-inch display and 3D graphics acceleration, as well as HDMI-out. It features the Gorilla Glass resistant coating.

13. BalckBerry PlayBook The BlackBerry PlayBook is a tablet computer by Research In Motion (RIM), a Canadian company that produces consumer electronics, best known for the BlackBerry smartphone. Also announced was a new operating system, the BlackBerry Tablet OS, based on QNX Neutrino, to run on the tablet.
