5. 5. List of Tablet PCs
The Apple’s iPad is the most famous Tablet PC in the market currently. It had to go through some criticism initially but now it feels like people have really accepted this as the only option. The other thing is that it’s kind of a status symbol owning Apple’s product.
6. 6. HP Slate is pretty much said to be the best alternative to iPad. It’s for those who love Windows 7 as it runs on the same. Other Tablets which are listed are mostly powered by Android, which is any Open Source Mobile Operating System from Google
11. 11. Reviews of a few Tablet PCs
Apple iPad
The bulk of its surface is taken up by a 9.7-inch, 1024 x 768, capacitive, multitouch LED-backlit display surrounded by a glossy black bezel that some will say is too wide but, in practice, is an important design consideration that prevents the touchscreen from being inadvertently activated when handled.
The applications of the iPad are plenty and the consumers are assured of fast browsing speed by Steve Jobs himself. But it doesn’t stand on his words. The iPad does not support flash and maybe it never will.
But the mails, youtube videos and iBooks perform really well on the iPads.
12. 12. Samsung Galaxy Tabs Review:
Samsung's done a commendable job distinguishing the Tab from the others with its contrasting front and back surfaces. The back of the rounded-off device is coated in white shiny plastic while the front consists of a familiar flush black bezel and glass screen.
It does have a Corning Gorilla Glass screen -- but it does feel incredibly durable, and one shouldn’t worry too much when it mistakenly falls off the couch.
Software: TouchWiz and Android.
