Mike died of bladder cancer that had spread to his rectum and bones. He was at high risk for cancer due to heavy cigarette smoking and a strong family history of cancer. HISTORY OF CANCER. SMOKING INCREASES
THE RISK OF BLADDER AND LUNG CANCER.
HE SHOULD HAVE SEEN HIS DOCTOR THE
FIRST TIME HE NOTICED BLOOD IN HIS
URINE.

5. IF MIKE QUIT SMOKING EARLY ENOUGH
OR AT LEAST SAW HIS DOCTOR WHEN HE
FIRST NOTICED BLOOD IN HIS URINE, HIS
KIDS WOULD NOT HAVE NEEDED TO
GROW UP WITHOUT A FATHER.
