Bio-metric Safety engineering in mobile devicesAdesh Singh
It is based on bio-metric safety engineering in mobile devices. Basically here we are focusing on the bio-metric devices over-view as well as on safety engineering in mobile devices. I had written very less in these but the key points and figures are enough to explain every thing. One more point is the future works which can be performed.
Know what is biometrics, how biometrics is used for identity recognition through this presentation. Learn about the different biometric identification ways.
Biometric ATM are used for wide range of applications like for Banking, Coupons & Self service ATM. Biometrics ATM offer ATM type interface along with at-least one Biometrics capture device like Fingerprint Scanner, Iris camera, Palm/Finger Vein scanner , Face recognition camera. They are often called Multi-Biometrics ATM, Wall mount Biometrics ATM, Biometrics Devices / Machine.
Most of the ATM in the past have been using ID cards to identify users but with the wide acceptance of Biometrics , a new generation of Biometrics ATM are being deployed for wide range of applications worldwide.
First of all, Thank you for giving this opportunity of presenting my knowledge with you all, hope this is helpful to learn something regarding biometric technology

Connector Corner: Automate dynamic content and events by pushing a buttonDianaGray10
Here is something new! In our next Connector Corner webinar, we will demonstrate how you can use a single workflow to:
Create a campaign using Mailchimp with merge tags/fields
Send an interactive Slack channel message (using buttons)
Have the message received by managers and peers along with a test email for review
But there’s more:
In a second workflow supporting the same use case, you’ll see:
Your campaign sent to target colleagues for approval
If the “Approve” button is clicked, a Jira/Zendesk ticket is created for the marketing design team
But—if the “Reject” button is pushed, colleagues will be alerted via Slack message
Join us to learn more about this new, human-in-the-loop capability, brought to you by Integration Service connectors.

Kubernetes & AI - Beauty and the Beast !?! @KCD Istanbul 2024Tobias Schneck
As AI technology is pushing into IT I was wondering myself, as an “infrastructure container kubernetes guy”, how get this fancy AI technology get managed from an infrastructure operational view? Is it possible to apply our lovely cloud native principals as well? What benefit’s both technologies could bring to each other?
Let me take this questions and provide you a short journey through existing deployment models and use cases for AI software. On practical examples, we discuss what cloud/on-premise strategy we may need for applying it to our own infrastructure to get it to work from an enterprise perspective. I want to give an overview about infrastructure requirements and technologies, what could be beneficial or limiting your AI use cases in an enterprise environment. An interactive Demo will give you some insides, what approaches I got already working for real.

"Impact of front-end architecture on development cost", Viktor TurskyiFwdays
I have heard many times that architecture is not important for the front-end. Also, many times I have seen how developers implement features on the front-end just following the standard rules for a framework and think that this is enough to successfully launch the project, and then the project fails. How to prevent this and what approach to choose? I have launched dozens of complex projects and during the talk we will analyze which approaches have worked for me and which have not.

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).
Speakers:
Bob Boule

• What is BIOMETRICS?
• History of Biometrics.
• Why Biometrics?
• It’s Working.
• Contribution in various Fields.
• Comparison of Biometric Techniques
• Success rate
• Advantages and Disadvantages
• Future of Biometric Techniques
3. BIOMETRICS?
Technology that identifies you based on your physical or behavioral traits
- for added security to confirm that you are the one who claim to be.
4. HISTORY OF BIOMETRICS.
The ancient Egyptians and Chinese played a vital role in biometrics history.
Biometrics in practice was in form of finger printing being used in China in 14th century.
Bertillon developed a technique of multiple body measurements.
A system called ‘Indentimat’ which measured shape of the hand and length of fingers was
introduced in 1970’s
7. HOW BIOMETRIC WORKS?
Enrollment
The data to be verified is recorded and scanning is done.
Representation
The recorded data is converted into a digital representation and stored as a numerical template.
Matching
The questioned data is compared to the stored numerical template.
Verification/Identification
In verification, an image is matched to only one image in the database.
In identification, an image is compared to many captured biometric against a biometric database.
8. CONTRIBUTION IN DIFFERENT FIELDS.
Finger Print and Hand Geometry Recognition
Voice Recognition
Handwriting Recognition
Iris Scanning
Vein Geometry Recognition
Facial Geometry Recognition
10. SUCCESS RATE
The average global pass rate for remote identity checks with face biometrics is 95 percent,
according to new research from Sumsub, well ahead of the 83 percent pass rate for 'selfie
with ID' checks.
11. BIOMETRICS:
Advantages
• Increase security.
• Eliminate problems caused by lost ID’s
and forgotten passwords.
• Make it possible, automatically, to
know WHO did WHAT, WHERE and
WHEN?
• Replace hard-to-remember passwords
which may be shared or observed.
Disadvantages
• Costly.
• Facial imaging can also hinder accurate
identification.
• The scanning of eye is fearful.
• Missing parts problems.
• False acceptances and rejections.
• The nervousness that people feel about
the scanners identification.
12. FUTURE OF BIOMETRIC TECHNIQUES:
Biometry is one of the most promising and life-altering technologies in existence today. It is all
set to change the way we live in the future. Some of the emerging biometrics technologies in the
near future are:
Ear shape identification.
Body odour identification.
Body salinity identification.
EEG Fingerprint.
DNA matching.
