Simple, low cost, User-friendly, easily adaptable FP based EVM using ARM9 microcontroller. In proposed EV system, the voters as well as voting data is recorded, stored and processed digitally The hardware is implemented with ARM9 microcontroller along with KY-M6 finger-print module. This system gives the best solution for minimizing the time taken for identifying the voter. FP-EVM is portable, flexible and with minimum power consumption.

Voting is the opportunity given to the people it is one of the political process, and the system is created to work best with everyone’s participation. Electronic Voting Machines (EVM) are being used by Indian election commission to conduct elections for the past decade. In Aadhar based electronic voting machine voters have to register their fingerprint. Based on the features of fingerprint it gets matched with the person who will cast the vote. Finger print matching will be done using the Aadhar card data base. The efficiency of a fingerprint is based on biometric system and is relatively high in comparison to other biometric based authentication systems like iris recognition, face readers, retina scanning, voice recognitions or hand geometry. With the help of keypad matrix voter can select the candidate to whom they wish to cast their vote and a message is displayed in LCD confirming the vote casted.

Abstract The dynamic nature of loads, seasonal variation of soil properties, uneven soil strata below footings or inappropriate design of foundation makes differential settlement inevitable. Differential settlement is largely responsible for developing forces or changing the existing forces in the structure and is often considered as the underlying cause of many structural failures. A structural engineer has to take into account these forces while designing the structure. Different structural parameters like stiffness of columns and beams and number of storeys and bays affect the response of the structure to differential settlement. In the present study, a plain portal frame subjected to constant differential settlement of 10 mm is analyzed for different cases using a structural analysis software i.e. STAAD Pro. Different parameters of the frame are varied to understand their influence on frame forces developed due to differential settlement. The parameters taken into account in this study are length of beam, height of column, moment of inertia of beam and column and number of storeys and bays. It is found that the forces in the frame developed due to differential settlement decrease on increasing beam lengths and column heights. Also, decreasing the moment of inertia of beams and columns is effective in reducing these forces. In addition, differential settlement tends to affect forces more in lower storeys as compared to higher storeys. The frame forces are more prominent for bays which are near to the support subjected to settlement. The increase or decrease in frame forces due to differential settlement can be attributed to the change in stiffness of the members. Hence, the study concludes that the stiffer members tend to develop higher forces for constant differential settlement in frames. Abstract The dynamic nature of loads, seasonal variation of soil properties, uneven soil strata below footings or inappropriate design of foundation makes differential settlement inevitable. Differential settlement is largely responsible for developing forces or changing the existing forces in the structure and is often considered as the underlying cause of many structural failures. A structural engineer has to take into account these forces while designing the structure. Different structural parameters like stiffness of columns and beams and number of storeys and bays affect the response of the structure to differential settlement. In the present study, a plain portal frame subjected to constant differential settlement of 10 mm is analyzed for different cases using a structural analysis software i.e. STAAD Pro. Different parameters of the frame are varied to understand their influence on frame forces developed due to differential settlement. The parameters taken into account in this study are length of beam, height of column, moment of inertia of beam and column and number of storeys and bays. It is found that the forces in the frame developed due to differential settlement decrease on increasing beam lengths and column heights. Also, decreasing the moment of inertia of beams and columns is effective in reducing these forces. In addition, differential settlement tends to affect forces more in lower storeys as compared to higher storeys. The frame forces are more prominent for bays which are near to the support subjected to settlement. The increase or decrease in frame forces due to differential settlement can be attributed to the change in stiffness of the members. Hence, the study concludes that the stiffer members tend to develop higher forces for constant differential settlement in frames. Car accident rates have increased in recent years, resulting in losses in human lives, properties, and other financial costs. An embedded machine learning-based system is developed to address this critical issue. The system can monitor road conditions, detect driving patterns, and identify aggressive driving behaviors. The system is based on neural networks trained on a comprehensive dataset of driving events, driving styles, and road conditions. The system effectively detects potential risks and helps mitigate the frequency and impact of accidents. The primary goal is to ensure the safety of drivers and vehicles. Collecting data involved gathering information on three key road events: normal street and normal drive, speed bumps, circular yellow speed bumps, and three aggressive driving actions: sudden start, sudden stop, and sudden entry. The gathered data is processed and analyzed using a machine learning system designed for limited power and memory devices. The developed system resulted in 91.9% accuracy, 93.6% precision, and 92% recall. The achieved inference time on an Arduino Nano 33 BLE Sense with a 32-bit CPU running at 64 MHz is 34 ms and requires 2.6 kB peak RAM and 139.9 kB program flash memory, making it suitable for resource-constrained embedded systems.

The aquaponic system of planting is a method that does not require soil usage. It is a method that only needs water, fish, lava rocks (a substitute for soil), and plants. Aquaponic systems are sustainable and environmentally friendly. Its use not only helps to plant in small spaces but also helps reduce artificial chemical use and minimizes excess water use, as aquaponics consumes 90% less water than soil-based gardening. The study applied a descriptive and experimental design to assess and compare conventional and reconstructed aquaponic methods for reproducing tomatoes. The researchers created an observation checklist to determine the significant factors of the study. The study aims to determine the significant difference between traditional aquaponics and reconstructed aquaponics systems propagating tomatoes in terms of height, weight, girth, and number of fruits. The reconstructed aquaponics system’s higher growth yield results in a much more nourished crop than the traditional aquaponics system. It is superior in its number of fruits, height, weight, and girth measurement. Moreover, the reconstructed aquaponics system is proven to eliminate all the hindrances present in the traditional aquaponics system, which are overcrowding of fish, algae growth, pest problems, contaminated water, and dead fish.

Using data from 41 years in Patna’ India’ the study’s goal is to analyze the trends of how often it rains on a weekly, seasonal, and annual basis (1981−2020). First, utilizing the intensity-duration-frequency (IDF) curve and the relationship by statistically analyzing rainfall’ the historical rainfall data set for Patna’ India’ during a 41 year period (1981−2020), was evaluated for its quality. Changes in the hydrologic cycle as a result of increased greenhouse gas emissions are expected to induce variations in the intensity, length, and frequency of precipitation events. One strategy to lessen vulnerability is to quantify probable changes and adapt to them. Techniques such as log-normal, normal, and Gumbel are used (EV-I). Distributions were created with durations of 1, 2, 3, 6, and 24 h and return times of 2, 5, 10, 25, and 100 years. There were also mathematical correlations discovered between rainfall and recurrence interval.
Findings: Based on findings, the Gumbel approach produced the highest intensity values, whereas the other approaches produced values that were close to each other. The data indicates that 461.9 mm of rain fell during the monsoon season’s 301st week. However, it was found that the 29th week had the greatest average rainfall, 92.6 mm. With 952.6 mm on average, the monsoon season saw the highest rainfall. Calculations revealed that the yearly rainfall averaged 1171.1 mm. Using Weibull’s method, the study was subsequently expanded to examine rainfall distribution at different recurrence intervals of 2, 5, 10, and 25 years. Rainfall and recurrence interval mathematical correlations were also developed. Further regression analysis revealed that short wave irrigation, wind direction, wind speed, pressure, relative humidity, and temperature all had a substantial influence on rainfall.
Originality and value: The results of the rainfall IDF curves can provide useful information to policymakers in making appropriate decisions in managing and minimizing floods in the study area.

- 3. 12-11-2019 WCE, Sangli 3 Introduction • Simple, low cost, User-friendly, easily adaptable FP based EVM using ARM9 microcontroller. • In proposed EV system, the voters as well as voting data is recorded, stored and processed digitally • The hardware is implemented with ARM9 microcontroller along with KY-M6 finger-print module. • This system gives the best solution for minimizing the time taken for identifying the voter. • FP-EVM is portable, flexible and with minimum power consumption.
- 4. 12-11-2019 WCE, Sangli 4 Existing System Elections allow the people to choose their representatives and express their preferences for how they are governed In all earlier elections of India, such as state or central elections, a voter casts his/her vote by marking with stamp against their chosen candidate and then folding the ballot paper as per a prescribed method, before dropping it in the ballot box. EVM were introduced in the election process. Because of the EVMs, all the condensed materials like the ballot papers, ballot boxes and stamping are completely replaced into a simple box called ballot unit.
- 5. 12-11-2019 WCE, Sangli 5 Need of Biometric voting EVM is programmed to record only five votes in a minute. Biometric identifiers offer several advantages over traditional and current methods. This is because only biometric authentication is based on the identification of an intrinsic part of a human being. Tokens such as smart cards, magnetic stripe cards and physical keys, can be lost, stolen, duplicated or left behind. Passwords can be forgotten, shared, hacked or unintentionally observed by third party

Step2: It is assumed that the voters have already registered and their finger-prints and voter details are stored in remote server Step3: Check if the voter I.D is valid or not i.e whether the candidate has registered or not by comparison of his finger with already stored finger-prints from remote server. Step4: If the voter has not registered or if the card ID is invalid, then display the message that the user is an unauthorized person. Step5: Else if the card is valid, then go to next step. Step6: Check if the candidate has already voted or not. Step7: If he has already casted his vote, then message is displayed that he has already voted and is prevented from voting for the second time. Step8: Else, if the candidate is voting for the first time, then he is allowed to vote. Step9: parties infray is displayed on LCD. Step10: After vote casting, the candidate’s photo, name, constituency and voter I.D is displayed on LCD. Step11:The polling results are sent instantaneously to central server which is accessed by an official using I.P address and password.
- 10. 12-11-2019 WCE, Sangli 10 Conclusion and Future expansion Used to enhance security by eliminating bogus voting and vote repetition using finger-print based authentication. As an additional security measure photo and details of the voter are displayed on ARM9 LCD from remote server and results are viewed at central server by an authorized person. In future, security of FP-EVM can still be enhanced if finger-print data can be stored and accessed from central server,
