The document provides biographical information about Albert Einstein. It discusses that he was born in Germany in 1879 and obtained his doctorate degree in 1905. In 1905, considered his annus mirabilis, he published four groundbreaking papers, including his special theory of relativity and explanation of the photoelectric effect. Einstein developed his famous mass-energy equivalence formula E=mc2. He received the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics and later became a professor in Germany and America, making significant contributions to modern physics.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.
How to Create Map Views in the Odoo 17 ERPCeline George
The map views are useful for providing a geographical representation of data. They allow users to visualize and analyze the data in a more intuitive manner.
The Indian economy is classified into different sectors to simplify the analysis and understanding of economic activities. For Class 10, it's essential to grasp the sectors of the Indian economy, understand their characteristics, and recognize their importance. This guide will provide detailed notes on the Sectors of the Indian Economy Class 10, using specific long-tail keywords to enhance comprehension.

The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

Synthetic Fiber Construction in lab .pptxPavel ( NSTU)
Synthetic fiber production is a fascinating and complex field that blends chemistry, engineering, and environmental science. By understanding these aspects, students can gain a comprehensive view of synthetic fiber production, its impact on society and the environment, and the potential for future innovations. Synthetic fibers play a crucial role in modern society, impacting various aspects of daily life, industry, and the environment. ynthetic fibers are integral to modern life, offering a range of benefits from cost-effectiveness and versatility to innovative applications and performance characteristics. While they pose environmental challenges, ongoing research and development aim to create more sustainable and eco-friendly alternatives. Understanding the importance of synthetic fibers helps in appreciating their role in the economy, industry, and daily life, while also emphasizing the need for sustainable practices and innovation.
Students, digital devices and success - Andreas Schleicher - 27 May 2024..pptxEduSkills OECD
Andreas Schleicher presents at the OECD webinar ‘Digital devices in schools: detrimental distraction or secret to success?’ on 27 May 2024. The presentation was based on findings from PISA 2022 results and the webinar helped launch the PISA in Focus ‘Managing screen time: How to protect and equip students against distraction’ https://www.oecd-ilibrary.org/education/managing-screen-time_7c225af4-en and the OECD Education Policy Perspective ‘Students, digital devices and success’ can be found here - https://oe.cd/il/5yV
We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

7. Albert Einstein develops his Special Theory of
Relativity.
He did this while working as a Patent Clerk in
Germany.
He wasn’t really even a scientist at the time.

8. Einstein uses the idea that
light exists as tiny packets,
or particles, that we now
call photons.
His work anchors the most
shocking idea in twentieth
century science: we live in a
universe built out of tiny
bits of energy and matter.

9. Next, in April and May, Einstein publishes
two papers.
In one he invents a new method of counting and
determining the size of the atoms or molecules in a
given space.
In the other he explains the phenomenon of
Brownian motion.
The net result is a proof that atoms actually exist -
still an issue at that time.

10. And then, in June, Einstein completes special relativity - which adds a twist
to the story: special relativity sees light as particles and a continuous field
of waves.
And of course, Einstein isn't finished. Later in 1905 comes the most
famous relationship in physics: E=mc2
.
The energy content of a body is equal to the mass of the body times the speed
of light squared.
At first, even Einstein does not understand the full implications of his
formula.
erkpalash@gmail.com
11. In 1911, he finally got a job as a Professor of
Physics at the German University.
erkpalash@gmail.com
12. Einstein received the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics
quantum theory of light, "Generation and Conversion of
Light with Regard to a Heuristic Point of View," for
which he was awarded the Nobel Prize for Physics in
1921 was published. The paper dealt with the
photoelectric effect and postulated that light sometimes
acts like a stream of particles with discrete energies, or
quanta.
13. After the death of the first
president of Israel in 1952, the Israeli
government decided to offer the post
of second president to Einstein. He
refused but found the offer an
embarrassment since it was hard for
him to refuse without causing
offence.

14. In 1999, Albert Einstein was
named "Person of the Century"
by Time magazine, a Gallup poll
recorded him as the fourth most
admired person of the 20th
century and according to The
100: A Ranking of the Most
Influential Persons in History,
Einstein is "the greatest scientist
of the twentieth century and one
of the supreme intellects of all
