A biography is a third-person account of someone else's life that describes key facts like where and when they lived and chronicles important events, achievements, likes, and beliefs. An autobiography differs in that it is written in first-person about the author's own experiences and influences in chronological order. Both biographies and autobiographies provide details about a person's life and perspectives.
