Fahiza Pordell is the facility manager at Farmers Plaza since 2006.
I have worked for SP+ since 2004 as a Facility Manager.
My experience in parking also includes 8 years at Century Parking
as an Office Manager and Facility Manager.
While working at Century Parking I started as a valet cashier, was
quickly promoted to Office Manager and later promoted to
Facility Manager, where I continued my role as I transitioned to
SP+.
My 20+ years of experience in parking management has allowed
me to interact with employees, customers, tenants, clients and
vendors. As a Facility Manager I learned to work on budgets,
accounts payable, account receivable, proposals, read leases, and
complete daily and monthly reports to corporate and building
management. Also, I was responsible for interviewing and
processing of new employees.
I have always had good rapport with clients, employees, coworkers and vendors.
My role as Facility Manager requires many hats. I must work on reports while assisting clients
and tenants who walk into the office, and assist customers at the exits at the same time.
Additionally, in 2003 I worked as a sales associate in J.C. Penny. This improved my sales,
customer service and retail skills.
