Dan Thompson
Founding Director, Specialist Financial Recruitment
SFR’s Founding Director, Dan Thompson, is well known and respected within the
industry having previously played an instrumental role in developing a leading UK
financial services recruitment consultancy which was launched in 2000.
In 2009, he helped establish a freelance fund promoter and distributor, operating
at the High & Ultra High Net Worth end of the regulated intermediary market. As
Recruitment Director he built a distribution team, capable of delivering a range of
quality, alternative investment funds and specialist services to investment
advisers.
In 2014, Dan launched Specialist Financial Recruitment. As an owner managed
business, he takes great pride in building the reputation and brand of SFR. His
passion, drive and enthusiasm, combined with in-depth market knowledge
and a strong understanding of client and candidate needs, translates into
a flexible and innovative financial services recruitment consultancy.
