A poll was conducted at a BIM event on January 20, 2015 to gauge readiness for building information modeling (BIM). The poll found that while 38% of participants felt ready for BIM projects, 41% did not feel ready yet. Only 26% felt they could deliver a BIM project immediately if requested, while 59% did not feel ready yet. There was also low awareness of BIM capabilities in supply chains and among partners, with less than 25% being aware and over 45% not being aware yet. Nearly half of participants expressed a need for BIM support.
