1. A study was conducted at Big Bazaar in Zirakpur from January 23rd to 26th, 2010 to understand the effectiveness of marketing communications tools during Sabse Saste 5 Din (SS4D). 2. A questionnaire was administered to 218 customers after their shopping to understand perceptions formed about offers and shopping experience. 3. Newspaper advertisements were found to be the most effective marketing communication tool, reaching 44% of customers.
