Faithful Citizenship - Catholic Social Teaching and Political Responsibilitycarol_st_pats
A reminder of the importance of living out our faith in the public arena, and a helpful explanation on the opportunities for independents to participate in the primary as Pope Francis and our Bishops call us to.
Main objective is to prevent Mischief & to bring people together showing striking similarities in Religion. As there are many recently created Hate Sites and Mischief Situations a part of the site is to bring some aspect of history so that Reason & Tolerance prevail throughout Society. It is possible that some information may not be ideally stated as we are amertures and expressly state no hurt is intended. We deeply regret such situation and we are profusely sorry to those who are hurt. In the same good faith, we will also accept any suggestions to make it a Honorable, Truthful & Informative site to those who intend to Embrace each other in Peace.
Beloved Brothers and Sisters,
Let Us Celebrate the Mystery of the Blessed Trinity by being UNITED not only with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit but also with our Brothers and Sisters specially the Lost, the Last and the Lapse.

"May the Lord Jesus put his hands on our eyes also, for then we too shall begin to look not at what is seen but at what is not seen. May he open the eyes that are concerned not with the present but with what is yet to come, may he unseal the heart's vision, that we may gaze on God in the Spirit, through the same Lord, Jesus Christ, whose glory and power will endure throughout the unending succession of ages." (prayer of Origin, 185-254 AD)
Beloved Sisters and Brothers,
May we live according to God's Image and Likeness. Living in community, living in family and proclaiming the Good News of the Father, Son & Spirit.

Russian anarchist and anti-war movement in the third year of full-scale warAntti Rautiainen
Anarchist group ANA Regensburg hosted my online-presentation on 16th of May 2024, in which I discussed tactics of anti-war activism in Russia, and reasons why the anti-war movement has not been able to make an impact to change the course of events yet. Cases of anarchists repressed for anti-war activities are presented, as well as strategies of support for political prisoners, and modest successes in supporting their struggles.

10. Mindanao context
• This issue gains more urgency and
sensitivity when we consider Mindanao.
Studies have shown that controlling
corruption in post-conflict countries
usually looks like fighting another war. If
the funds that will come with the signing
of the peace agreement do not land on
the proper beneficiary communities,
then we may have to face another war.
11. Church as part of the problem
• And in the midst of all this, the Church as
institution seems to suffer the same dark
night, rather than serve as a guiding light.
• “With so many churches, how come the
Philippines is still corrupt?” The head of
the Philippine Council of Evangelical
Churches yesterday posed his question as
he challenged the 20,000 churches under
the group's wing to
go through a process of self-examination.
12. Church as part of problem
• ‘There's a whole history to show that the Church,
though part of the solution, is also part of the
problem -- probably more the second than the
first. It's a Church, quite incidentally, that is itself
cleaved into rich and poor, in part involuntarily --
some parishes are poorer than others…As with
the society itself, the pocket of wealth and
opulence at the top is matched by breathtaking
deprivation below, a spectacular divide that
doesn't suggest it holds on to values conducive
to honesty, or indeed Christianity.’
