• Eligibility
 Primary Health Care Board established according to
national guidelines
WDCs established in the project LGAs/ward
 Open ‘BHCP FUND’ account with the CBN or
commercial bank
 Deposit - 50% counterpart in designated account
and ring fenced (withdrawals for execution of
BHCPF projects only)
 Identification of one health facility per ward for
accreditation (NPHCDA/NHIS)

4. Eligibility Criteria II
• MOU with the NPHCDA on counterpart funding
• Authorization letter allowing NPHCDA and
Accountant General of the Federation access to
the BHCPF account quarterly
• Establish TWG for BHCPF
– Prepare proposals with LGAs
– Submit to NPHCDA
– Monitoring mechanism for the projects
