This document announces a team project presentation and innovation tournament that will take place on April 30th. Teams of 3 students will develop an innovative product or service idea and present it. Presentations will be 5 minutes with 5 minutes of Q&A from judges and other students. The goal is for teams to further develop their ideas over the summer and potentially start building a business around the winning concepts in the fall.

▸Doesn’t have to be possible, but must be
“Innovative”

▸Treadmill that mimicked the running conditions at the
destination you’re running on.
▸Solar power? Why not lunar power? Lunar light
collector.
▸Public restrooms are always gross - came up with a way
to automagically clean restrooms

actually do and how does it do it
▸DO NOT need to know how much it would cost or
how much it would sell for

▸2-2.5 hours, during the regular time block, expected to
attend the whole thing

7. THE THOUGHT PROCESS IS, THEY’LL TAKE THESE IDEAS AND
THINK ABOUT THEM OVER THE SUMMER AND COME BACK IN THE
FALL WITH SOMETHING THEY CAN HIT THE GROUND RUNNING
WITH. POSSIBLY PIVOT IN SOME WAY, BUT USING THIS IDEA NEXT
YEAR BY STARTING TO BUILD A BUSINESS AROUND IT.
