How to Wait Upon the Lord For Your BreakthroughLee Mcfarland
Good things come to those who wait on the Lord! Isaiah 40, verse 31 says, “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31. The Bible tells us there is something about “waiting on the Lord” that does not sap you of energy, it is actually life-giving and renewing! God wants us to start doing some “wait training.” Psalm 40, verse 1 and 2 says… “I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps.” [Psalm 40:1-2] What you just read – Psalm 40 - impacted the iconic rock group, U2, and their lead singer, Bono so much, he wrote a song that uses the words from Psalm 40, and song is called, “40”. It was a hit in Germany, but not released in the USA. If you’ve been to a U2 concert, many times it's the last song they play in the concert as they all walk off stage, one by one, until all that’s left is the drummer and the crowd singing the chorus. It is a very moving experience. The word “inclined” reminds me of that famous line in Pirates of the Carribean – the Curse of the Black Pearl – where Barbosa says: "I'm disinclined to acquiesce to your request…. Means 'no'". So, here in Psalm 40, it says, “HE INCLINED!” That means… YES! “I waited patiently for the Lord, and He inclined – he said yes to me – God wasn’t disinclined to acquiesce to my request - he was inclined to acquiesce to my request - God heard my cry! He brought me up out of a horrible pit. Is there anybody out there - besides me today - who could use being brought up out of a horrible pit? If you wait on the Lord, he is INCLINED to say YES to your RESCUE! That's what the slide presentation is all about.

Health Benefits of Best Resting Practices 3Nickolas Lind
The application of best resting practices brings healing for the soul. When we sleep, there are four major organ systems which get repaired: The immune system, the skeletal system, the muscular system and the nervous system. Due to the importance of these systems, when we apply these best practices we feel refreshed and restored.
Principles of hygiene refer to conditions or practices which are conducive to the maintenance of health and the prevention of disease through cleanliness.
Without faith it is impossible to please God. When we trust in God and ask him for help, He is willing to cooperate with us. This assurance provides healing for the soul.
Temperance is the abstinence from all things which are harmful and the moderate use of things that are beneficial. Temperance is considered one of the ten laws of health. Applying the principles of temperance provides healing for the soul.
Happiness, joy and peace are linked to exercise. The body is the connection between the mind and the soul. It is of paramount importance that we take care of our bodies. The more we exercise the easier it is for us to realize the purposes in our soul for which we were placed on this earth.
What prevents the non-believing world from truly knowing who Jesus is? (Jn. 1:10-12; 2 Cor. 2:14) Why didn’t Pilate know what Truth was when the One who is Truth was standing only a few feet from him? (John 18:33-38) Why didn’t the disciples understand who Christ was though they had spent three solid years with Him? Why didn’t the disciples on the Emmaus Road know who Jesus was though He had already risen from the dead and reports of His resurrection had been announced to His disciples? (Luke 24:13-35)
When you believe, you can do anything. This concept is heard everywhere, but it was solidified by the teachings of Jesus. He said that we could move mountains if we had faith.

12. The Faith of the Centurion:
Matthew 8:5-17 “5 When Jesus had entered
Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help.
6 “Lord,” he said, “my servant lies at home paralyzed, suffering
terribly.”
7 Jesus said to him, “Shall I come and heal him?”
8 The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come
under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be
healed. 9 For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers
under me. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and that one, ‘Come,’
and he comes. I say to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”
10 When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those
following him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel
with such great faith. 11 I say to you that many will come from
the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with
Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. 12 But the
subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the
darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! Let it be done just as
you believed it would.” And his servant was healed at that
moment.

teaching in their synagogues,
preaching the gospel of the
kingdom, and healing every
sickness and every disease
among the people.

And You healed me.”

healed of your affliction.”
14
15. Luke 8:43-4843 And a woman was there who had been subject to
bleeding for twelve years, but no one could heal her. 44 She came up
behind him and touched the edge of his cloak, and immediately her
bleeding stopped.
45 “Who touched me?” Jesus asked.
When they all denied it, Peter said, “Master, the people are
crowding and pressing against you.”
46 But Jesus said, “Someone touched me; I know that power has
gone out from me.”
47 Then the woman, seeing that she could not go unnoticed, came
trembling and fell at his feet. In the presence of all the people, she
told why she had touched him and how she had been instantly
healed. 48 Then he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you.
Go in peace.”
15
16. Luke 8:49-56 “49 While He was still speaking, someone came from the
ruler of the synagogue’s house, saying to him, “Your daughter is dead.
Do not trouble the Teacher.”
50 But when Jesus heard it, He answered him, saying, “Do not be afraid;
only believe, and she will be made well.” 51 When He came into the
house, He permitted no one to go in except Peter, James, and John, and
the father and mother of the girl. 52 Now all wept and mourned for her;
but He said, “Do not weep; she is not dead, but sleeping.” 53 And they
ridiculed Him, knowing that she was dead.
54 But He put them all outside, took her by the hand and called, saying,
“Little girl, arise.” 55 Then her spirit returned, and she arose
immediately. And He commanded that she be given something to eat.
56 And her parents were astonished, but He charged them to tell no one
what had happened.
