• The scene starts with a cutaway shot of the weather outside (very damp, dull & rainy)
• (Fairly small, Messy room, with window above the side of the bed) It then cuts to Fin
suddenly waking up with a huge gasp as if he had a nightmare.
• A series of establishing shots/ close ups are used to establish him as a typical messy
teenage school kid.
• Close up 1: Alarm Clock
• Close up 2: Messy floor
• A mirror shot is used to show him struggling to put on his tie.
• He checks for his brother who is not there
• He rushes to leave his house for school by running down the stairs into his kitchen
(Pan)
• Close up of him grabbing his wallet and packed lunch in see through plastic bag.
• Pan of him exiting kitchen to open his door and leave.
• Scene 1 ends with a long shot of Fin exiting his house to a piercing silence.
