Zoom stops, close up
As zoom stops, lighter flickers on.
Lighter burns corner of picture.
Actor 1: mortuorum mortuorum non maneat (the dead should stay dead)
Screen wipe to close up
Following fire burning the picture the screen wipes to reveal close
up of protagonist feet, where the picture falls down to the floor
burning.
(Slow motion effect) Cuts to mid-shot
Whole body is revealed as protagonist walks down pathway into the
overgrown graveyard…
POV shots looking at protagonist
The camera looking around trees and bushes, then quickly hiding away
when the protagonist looks behind him.
Mid-shot of protagonist
Actor 1: “Hmmm? “
Over the shoulder shot
Protagonist stops and stares directly at a distance grave stone.
(camera focuses on grave stone)
Low angle shot
Camera is angled from the gravestone looking up at the protagonist as
he stares down at the gravestone, with a bitter emotion in his face.
(Tense creepy music fades in)
POV shot
Camera pokes around tree revealing itself to the protagonist as he
spots it and starts running away, while it chases him out of the
graveyard.
(Black screen)
Cuts back to dark room
Mid-shot
Protagonist rushes back into room closing the door behind him
quickly, he slides down the door slowly moving into a sat down
position trying to catch his breath.
(Zoom into close up of protagonist face)
Protagonist looks up and his face turns to shock.
Actor 1: “oh shit…”
Panning shot
Camera turns to see the burnt picture still intact with ashes around
it, and a message above it saying “you can’t kill what’s already
dead”.
(Black screen)
End credits.
END.
