2. Aimee has 19 more jellybeans than Andrea. If Aimee has 33 jellybeans, how 
many jellybeans does Andrea have? 
3. Twenty students share 220 books evenly. How many books does each student 
receive? 
4. The bull's-eye of Matt's dartboard is worth 45 points for every time it is hit. If 
Matt hits the bull's-eye 14 times, how many points will he score? 
5. If 26 is increased by 37, what is the new value?

1. Write a numeric expression for the phrase “four more than five times a number, 
n"? 
2. Joe wants to run at least 18 miles this week. If he runs 3 miles on Monday and 
twice as many miles on Wednesday, what is the minimum number of miles he still 
has to run this week to reach his goal? 
3. At a hot dog stand, Steve spent $18 on hot dogs for his family. If he bought a 
total of 8 hot dogs, how much did each one cost? 
4. Ted has 5 different shirts and 6 pairs of pants in his closet. How many different 
outfits can he make by selecting one shirt and one pair of pants? 
5. Fifteen is what percent of 60?
