Labit West is a small barangay of Urdaneta City in the Philippines. The residents envision creating a healthy community where members can live fulfilling lives and serve the public good. The mission is to develop all community members into productive citizens. Originally named after a creek, Labit West has grown from 1,963 residents in 2000 to 2,443 in 2015. The main industry is farming, though government livelihood projects in weaving and food also provide income. Labit West Elementary School aims to deliver high-quality education. Eduardo Almendares serves as Barangay Chairman alongside seven Barangay Councillors including Tirso Balberdi and Racquel Comilang.
