The Central Bank of Oman (CBO) is the single integrated regulator of Oman's financial services industry
and responsible for maintaining the internal and external value of the national currency. Within CBO,
PMO’s role is to ensure software solution implementations related to different internal Business
departments are delivered to the satisfaction of all stakeholders by following matured set of guidelines
for each stage of a project.
As a “Test Lead” working within Project Management Office (PMO), play an active role in all phases of
the software test lifecycle (STLC) from vendor management, Requirement & Gap analysis,
Comprehensive Test Design for both SIT and UAT, Test Execution and Defect Management, for the
following projects, ensuring Business Requirements have been met.
• Banking Oversight and Reporting Systems (BORS) [On-going project] – CBO as a regulator is
implementing Vizor product for its member institutions (banks) to submit periodic returns and to
generate financial reports based on those returns.
• Currency Management System (CMS) [On-going project] – CBO as a currency regulator for the
country is implementing Vault Management System (VMS) of G & D to track the entire life
cycle of currencies right from procurement to destruction/recycling.
• E-Business Suite – To ease its internal operations CBO implemented Oracle E-Business Suite
covering modules like payroll, Oracle Time & Labour, Performance Management, Employee
Self-service, Manage Self-service and Compensation work bench was implemented.

and loans, was planning to migrate its core account receivable platform VisionPLUS as well as fraud
detection software and behavior scoring system from CSC datacenter in Melbourne, Australia to Bank of
Ayudhya (BAY) datacenter in Bangkok, Thailand by March 2012. The core receivable platform will be
migrated from the current VisionPLUS release of v8.23 to the VisionPLUS release v8.37
Responsibilities:
• Understanding VisionPLUS system, the Loan parameter setups and assisting the testing team in
finalizing the scenarios under which a Loan rescheduling can be initiated in a credit card
scenario and covering the life cycle of loan rescheduling.

Description:
This project for Credit Suisse aims at automating the Front end deal capturing process for Japan and
Australia by implementing ATS, which can price and capture forex and Precious Metals trades
electronically and channel it to Temenos (T24) system. Together with ATS a position management
systems called Light House has been implemented in order to manage the position created from the
trades booked in ATS.
Responsibilities:
• Leading a 12 member team and interacting with the client for all project related activities.

With assets worth over USD 8.5 billion, Bank Muscat is the largest bank in Oman, having a strong
presence in Corporate Banking, Consumer Banking, Investment Banking, Treasury, Private Banking,
Project Finance and Asset Management. Bank Muscat has migrated from legacy system called MIE to
the new customized Core Banking Solutions -Temenos (T24).
Responsibilities:
• Understanding the Retail Asset module that covers Personal, Car and Educational Loans.
• Involved in discussion with the development team for better understanding of application and
transactional flow
• Preparation of High level functional scenarios and test conditions based on the Business
requirements
• Reviewing of Scenarios and Test cases prepared by the team, preparation of traceability matrix
and preparation of Run plan for phased execution

Al Hilal Bank is one of the leading financial institutions in the Middle East which functions in
accordance with the principles of Islamic Banking. Al Hilal Bank chose T24 as the IT solution to
automate their core banking and loan management systems. Corporate Assets group covered all the
corporate banking operations in Al Hilal Bank that includes products like Murabaha, Mudaraba, and
Ijara. Execution was completed in 4 rounds. An Integrated UAT was also conducted before the Business
Simulation.
