  • #7 Upfront, if you look at spending $15 per hour on a full time employee versus paying $35 per hour for a Virtual Assistant, you would think that it’s costing you more. But one important thing you need to consider before anything else is that you won’t be paying any benefits, overhead or taxes that can amount to another $15-20 on top of what your employee is earning per hour. This is because Assistants are hired as private contactors and not as employees of the company and therefore are not entitled to these benefits.
