This document is a mini project report for an automatic water dispenser. It includes sections on the introduction, literature review, methodology, results, summary and conclusion. The automatic water dispenser uses an Arduino board programmed to detect when a cup is placed under an ultrasonic sensor, which then energizes a water pump to dispense water automatically. When the cup is removed, the water pump is deenergized. This system allows for hands-free water dispensing and has applications in homes, public places, and hospitals for more convenient and efficient use.

ABSTRACT
In this 21st century, most people want to live modern lives which make their day to day activities
easy, fast and efficient. Water dispenser is also used in our daily life and most of the water
dispensers use manual control to turn on or turn off the system.
Automatic Water dispenser is an Arduino based system that detects any cup being placed
in front of an ultrasonic sensor and water automatically starts flowing out of the Dispenser. In
this system, the Arduino is programmed to always check if a cup is being placed in front of the
ultrasonic sensor if yes the water pump is energized and denergised when the cup is removed
away from the ultrasonic sensor.
This automatic water dispenser can be used in our houses, public places and hospitals.
This circuit finds wide applications in our daily life. This circuit is not only used for
automatically controlling the water dispenser but it can be used for controlling hand dryers,
blowers, water tap and door opening & closing.
