IMPORTANT S AFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1 Read these instructions - for all components before using this product.

5 Do not use this apparatus near water or moisture - Do not use this product near a bathtub,
washbowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, in a wet basement, near a swimming pool, or anywhere
else that water or moisture are present.
6 Clean only white a dry cloth. Unplug this product from the wall outlet before cleaning.
7 Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer ,s
instructions - To ensure reliable operation of the product and to protect it from overheating, put
the product in a position and location that will not interfere with its production. For example, do
not place the product on a bed, sofa, or similar surface that may block the ventilation openings.
Do not put it in a built-in system, such as a bookcase or a cabinet that keep air from flowing
through its ventilation openings.

Thank you for purchasing this Multimedia Centre. Please read this manual carefully before
operating and reserve it for future reference. It will be helpful to you if you encounter any
operational problem.

TO RAIN OR MOISTURE, DRIPPING OR SPLASHING AND THAT NO OBJECTS FILLED

1 STANDBY button
Hold this button for 1~2 seconds to turn on or enter the standby mode. (Red LED will be lit.)
2 PLAY/PAUSE button
Press it to start/pause the playback.
3 STOP button
Press it to stop the playback.
4 MUTE button
Press it to mute the audio.
5 Volume -/+ button
In the mode menu state, they are used as left and right button. If not, they are used as volume
control button.
6 PREVIOUS button
Press it to locate at the previous track or chapter when playing DVD, iPod, USB or Memory Card.
In the menu state it is DOWN button.
7 NEXT button
Press it to locate at the next track or chapter when playing DVD, iPod, USB or Memory Card. In the
menu state it is UP button.
8 MODE button
Press it to pop out the playing modes selecting menu: DVD, iPod, USB, Bluetooth, Memory Card,
FM radio, AU1, AU2. The icon of media which is playing will be green around the frame and there
there will be a orange cursor at the bottom of icon to flash when you move to the icon.

Key Description of Remote Control
1 ON/OFF
Press this button to turn on/ turn off the player.
2 MUTE
Audio mute ON/OFF.
3 MODE
Press it to pop out the playing mode menu: DVD. iPod. USB. Bluetooth, Memory Card, FM radio,
AU1,AU2. Then use left/right button to choose the mode and press OK to enter.
4 MENU
press this button to pop out the main menu of the playing media.
5 SETUP
Press it to bring forth the main setup menu.
6 RETURN
Press it to return to the last step operation.
7 VOL+
Volume up. In the menu state it is RIGHT button.
8 VOL-
Volume down. In the menu state it is LEFT button.
9 OK
Enter the selected item.
10 CURSOR buttons
Use these buttons to move the cursor up, down, left and right when selecting the setting items.

It is fast backward key when playing DVD, USB or Memory Card. (Invalid in iPod mode)

Press this button to select the time (30min/ 60min/ 90min/ 120min/ OFF) for timer. The unit will
be off automatically.
20 FM SCAN
In the FM radio state press it to scan the FM radio program.(Invalid in other mode.)
21 A-B
Press this button during the playback of DVD, USB, Memory Card to set two points and play the
section between them repeatly. (Invalid in iPod mode)
22 OSD
Press it to display the information of media which is playing. (Invalid in iPod mode)



23 SUB-TITLE

Press it to switch the DVD S subtitle language. (Invalid in other mode.)
24 AUDIO
Press it to switch the audio language during the playback of DVD.(Invalid in USB /Memor y Card
mode.)
25 SEARCH
Locate a title/ chapter/ time to play, during the playback of USB or Memor y Card.(Invalid in
other mode.)
26 TITLE

press it to display the DVD S title. (Invalid in other mode.)
27 MY MUSIC
It is the shortcut key for the iPod MUSIC playback.
28 MY VIDEO
It is the shortcut key for the iPod VIDEO playback and it is only useful for the iPod with video.
29 MY PHOTO
It is the shortcut key for the iPod PHOTO playback.
30 ON
It is the shortcut key for entering bluethooth mode.

Remote Control Information
Notes on using the remote control unit
Do not drop or step on the remote control unit or subject it
to shocks.
Note that the remote control unit may not work if there are
obstacles between it and the remote sensor.
Do not expose the remote sensor to strong light. Doing so
may make operation impossible.
Use the remote control unit within the specified operating
range.

Note:
To prevent leakage of fluid from the lithium battery, remove
the battery when not using the remote control unit for long
periods of time (one month or more). If the battery leaks fluid,
carefully wipe it out of the battery case, then change to a
new lithium battery.

Caution:
The battery may present a risk of fire if mistreated.
Do not recharge ,disassemble, heat it above 100 C .

battery properly, keep away from children and do not
dispose it in fire.

BASIC OPERATIONS

Turn on the power
1 Connect the AC adapter to a socket.
2 Connect the AC output plug of the adapter to the AC input jack on the back side of the main
unit.
3 Press the power switch to turn on the power and hold on the STANDBY button on the top keypad
of the main unit for 1~2 seconds or the button on the remote control to turn on the unit.

1 When the power is on, press the power switch to turn off the power.
2 Unplug the power cord from the power outlet.

3 Disconnect the AC adapter from the main unit s AC input jack.

Disc operation
1 Press the open button on the right side of main unit to open the DVD player cover.

2 Place in a disc and press it down with your fingers near the canter hole (Attention: Do not touch
the lens). A click is heard.

3 The playing mode menu will pop out on the screen and the cursor stops on the DVD icon. Press
OK button to begin playing DVD disc.

Notes:
Set the disc securely. Failure to set it securely could result in damage. Do not use cracked or
warped discs. Doing so could result in damage. Place single-sided DVDs or CDs in with the label
(Printed) side facing upwards.
For double-sided DVDs, check each side carefully, then place the disc in securely (Until a click is
heard).
For CDs or one-sided DVDs, you do not have to worry about touching the label (Printed) side of
the disc with your fingers. Since two-sided DVDs have signals recorded on both sides, be careful
not to scratch them when removing them from the player.

1 Turn on the power of player.
2 Open the disc correctly.
3 Insert a disc correctly.
4 Close the cover.
5 Press the standby button to turn on the unit and
it will pop out the mode menu. DVD mode has
been chosen by the unit itself and press OK
button to confirm, the unit will load the disc and
play automatically. If not, please press the
button.

A-B/REPEAT playback
1 A-B playback
When pressing A-B button on the remote control
during playback, the current point would be
located on the remote control, and“ REPEAT A-”
appears on the screen.
Press A-B button again, B point would be located
and REPEAT A-B shown on the screen the player
would play from A point to B point repeatedly.
Press A-B button again. A-B playback would be
cancelled and A-B CANCEL shown on the screen,
then the player resume normal playback.
Repeat a Title, Chapter or Track.
2 Press REPEAT button on the remote control during
playback.
The chapter or the title(for DVD) and the MO DE MENU

track or entire disc (for CD) will be played
repeatedly.
The REPEAT mode will be changed OK

Use UP/ DOWN/ LEFT/ RIGHT to move the cursor to a folder, a file, MP3 ICON or JPEG ICON.
In order to play MP3 files, move the cursor to MP3 ICON and press OK button to enter the Mp3 file.
The move the cursor to choose the desired file and press OK to play.
In order to play JPEG files, move the cursor to JPEG ICON and press OK button.
Press STOP or RETURN button to go back to the main menu.
Press A-B button to get A-B REPEAT function. Press REPEAT button to switch repeat mode(REP1,REP
DIR REP ALL, REP OFF).
REP1 means repeating the track; REP DIR means repeating the folder; REP ALL means repeating
the whole disc.
Note:
when you view the JPEG pictures you can use the UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT arrows to rotate or flip the
pictures.

Playing the DivX files
Your player is an official DivX Certified product that plays DivX.5, DivX.4, DivX.3, and DivX.VOD video
content in compliance with DivX Certified technical requirements.
Note:
To guarantee playback of DivX files the audio must be MP3 format. DivX Certified devices can play
any interleaved MP3 audio at any bitrate, both CBR and VBR. The audio must be sampled at
standard frequencies, such as 32 kHz, 44.1 kHz, and 48 kHz, and must conform to the AVI file
specification. Apart from MP3, the audio formats recognized by your player are MPEG layer 1 / 2 ,
AC3, PCM. Formats such as AAC and Ogg Vorbis are not supported by this player.
1 Open the compartment by sliding the OPEN button to the right.
2 Place the disc with the printed side facing up and close the compartment.
3 A menu appears on the screen. Select a folder using the UP and DOWN buttons on the remote
control, then press OK to open the folder s contents.
4 Select a file using the UP and DOWN buttons on the remote control.

AUTO: Choose this setting if your player is connected to a multi-system TV.
NTSC: Choose this setting if your player is connected to a NTSC TV.
PAL: Choose this setting if your player is connected to a PAL TV.

4 : 3 PS (Pan & Scan): Choose this setting if your player is connected to a normal ratio TV. You can
fill the movie to the entire screen of your TV. This might mean that parts of the picture (the left and
right edges) won't be seen.

4 : 3 LB (Letter Box): Choose this setting if your player is connected to a normal ratio TV. You'll see the
movie in their original aspect ratio (height-to-width ratio). You'll see the entire frame of the movie.
The movie might appear with black bars at the top and bottom of the screen.

16 : 9 (Wide Screen): Choose this setting if your player is connected to a wide screen TV. If you
choose this setting and you don't have a wide screen TV, the images on the screen may appear
distorted due to vertical compression.

RATING
The rating feature works with DVD discs that have been assigned a rating.
This helps you to control the types of DVDs that the player can be watched.
There are eight limited rating options: KID SAFE, G, PG, PG13, PG-R, R, NC-17,ADULT.
The default setting is ADULT.

OSD LANGUAGE

Highlight the OSD LANGUAGE option, and press the arrow buttons to choose the OSD language you
prefer. Press ENTER to confirm, and it will display OSD in that language.
There are 5 optional OSD languages: English, German, Spanish, French and Italian.

prefer. Press ENTER to confirm. If the disc you are playing has that language available, it will display
subtitles in that language. There are 7 optional subtitle languages: Chinese, English, Japanese,
French, Spanish, Portuguese and German.

If your preferred language isn't available, the disc's default language will be played.

OPTICAL SETUP

OP AUDIO OUT

Highlight the AUDIO OUT option, and press the arrow buttons to choose the audio output mode you
prefer. Press ENTER to confirm.
There are 3 optional audio output modes: SPDIF /OFF, SPDIF /RAW and SPDIF /PCM.

SPDIF /OFF: Choose this setting to output analog signal, and there will be no signal is outputted
from optical jack.

SPDIF /RAW: Choose this setting if your DVD player is connected to a power amplifier with an optical
cable. When playing a disc recorded with Dolby Digital and MPEG audio formats, the
corresponding digital signals will be outputted from the optical output jack.

SPDIF /PCM: Choose this setting if your DVD player is connected to a 2-channel digital stereo am
plifier. When playing a disc recorded with Dolby Digital and MPEG audio formats,
audio signals will be modulated into a 2-channel PCM signal, and it will be outputted
from the optical jack.
The default setting is SPDIF/OFF.

DYNAMIC RANGE
Choose this setting to adjust the line out compressing ratio and get different effects.
If adjusting to FULL, the audio signal peak value will be compressed to be the minimum; while
adjusting to OFF, to be the maximum.

DivX ( R ) VOD
DivX VOD files are downloaded after paying a rental from certain commercial website. Prior to
downloading a VOD you need to input the registration number of your DVD player on the purchase
form on the site. Write down the VOD 8-character registration number so that you can fill in the form
on the website you purchase your DivX VOD files from.
Note:
If you cannot play a DivX VOD file recorded on a CD-R disc after downloading it, the rental period
allocated during purchasing from the website may have expired. It is also possible that the
recorded file is not compatible with your player because of different versions or incorrect download
parameters. The parameters used when copying to CD-R may be another reason for this.
Since it is not possible here to supply all the information, parameters and advice relating to the use
of DivX VOD files, we recommend that you visit specialist website such as www.divx.com/vod.

The registration code will be changed each time you use it to download the DivX files. You have to
use new code to carry out downloading operation next time.

FM OPERATION

The followings are the instruction for the FM operation.

1 Connect the FM antenna to the FM jack on the back side of unit, and hang it up to some where
to get better signals.

2 Press the mode button to choose the FM radio mode and press OK to enter.
3 If there is no channel, press the FM SCAN button on the remote control to scan, the
scanning frequency is between 87.5MHZ and 108MHZ. The found FM radio programs will be
stored automatically. It can store 99 programs.
4 Use the UP / DOWN button on the remote control or / button on the top touch panel or input
the number by the number keys directly to choose the program you want.

Note:
the "10+" button will increase the number by 10 each time when you press it. For example, If you
want to choose the 35th program, you can press the "10+" button for 3 times continuously, the
number shown on the screen will become "30+" then press "5" button, you go to the 35th

iPod OPERATION

The following are the instructions for the iPod operation
1 Choose the dock adapter that fit your iPod . There are 2 dock adapters we offered for your
choice. One is for the 1GB, 2GB and 4GB iPod nano, the another is for 30GB iPod with video.
2 Insert the dock adapter and connect your iPod.

3 The playing mode menu will pop out on the screen and the cursor stops on the ipod icon, press
OK button to enter.
Note:
The iPod will be recharged automatically once its insertion.

iPod playback
Press MENU button on the remote control to pop out the main menu of the iPod. Use the UP /DOWN
button to choose the items your want and press OK to confirm.
Note:
If you want to go back to the previous menu you are operating, press the MENU button. It will go
back one by one when each time you press the MENU button.
Press iPod ON/OFF to turn on or turn off your iPod.

USB AND CARD-READER OPERATION

The following are the instructions of the USB operation

1 Plug the USB into the USB jack.
2 Press the "MODE" button to pop out the mode menu and choose the USB mode then press OK
button to confirm. The playing mode menu will pop out on the screen and the cursor stops on
the USB icon press OK button to enter.
3 The system enters the USB and is ready to playback the files in the USB.
4 The following operations are just like the playback of a MP3 format disc and JPEG CD.(see page
14)

Using poor quality flash may affect the readability of the unit.
This unit can read flash memory card up to 1GB capacity.

BLUETOOTH OPERATION

The following are the instructions for the bluetooth operation
1 Install the bluetooth module into the unit.
2 The playing mode menu will pop out on the screen and the cursor stops on the bluetooth icon,
press OK button to enter.
3 If it is the first time to use this function, press and hold the bluetooth register button for 3 seconds,
the LED will flash the blue light in the way that 0.5 second on and 1 second off.

4 After that your device will sent the signal to the unit and show the message for inputting the pairing
code. The pairing code is 8888.
5 If the register is successful you will hear "DO DO" sound. The system begins to receive the audio
signal sent by your device, and the LED began to flash in the way that 0.5 second on and 1
second off.
6 If all the bluetooth devices are ready, you can press the bluetooth button on the remote control
to enter the bluetooth function from the other playing media.

BLUETOOTH

Note:
After power off, the previous connected and registered device will be kept in the bluetooth
module. Then the second time when you use your device for the bluetooth function in this unit
the system will enter the stand-by mode directly and be connected with your device
automatically. Tn this case the LED will flash in the way that 0.5 second on and 3 second off. The
distance of receiving bluetooth signals is about 10 metres in the open field.

1 Connect this unit with other device by the AV cable. The audio signals of the device will be input
to it and you can enjoy the surround channel sound.
2 Press the MODE button to choose the AU1or AU2 mode.
