Target Audience?
• Our core target audience will be young adults/ adults aged between 17-30.
There is no niche audience as the genre is widely known and one of the most
listened to. The tastes and attitudes of our audience will largely consist of
social media such as Facebook and Twitter. Most likely they will not follow the
traditional methods of consuming media (going to cinema); using Netflix/
Amazon Prime/ Now TV are the more likely options. Our target audience is
more likely to be interested in clothes and fashion and therefore be part of
clothing tribes, this will be the same for music along with sports.
• Our music will serve our audience as a means of escape from the world. It will
a source of entertainment and act as an emotional release whilst also helping
them find their own personal identity. Our genre will help them find their own
identity because our genre is very relatable for most people in a lot of
situations (break ups).
• Due to the age range of our core target audience most of our music will be
consumed online through apps such as Spotify, however YouTube will also be a
main source of consumption for our music.
