2. Within our film we have included some mature themes which may not be suitable for a young audience. Our target audience would have to be those over the age of 12 , which is why we have given our film a 12A certificate. We felt that a target audience of 12 and above would be more suitable for our film ,as they would be able to relate to the mature themes covered.

3. Even though our film deals with the mature theme of paedophilia ,we felt that the lack of explicit scenes would make it a suitable 12A. However if our film did contain : • strong violence • frequent strong language (e.g. 'f***'). • portrayals of sexual activity • strong verbal references to sex • sexual nudity • brief scenes of sexual violence or verbal references to sexual violence • discriminatory language or behaviour • drug taking Then our certificate would be made higher to perhaps 15 certificate.

4. By using mature themes within our film we were able to cater for those who are 12 and over. Within our film we include the character of a paedophile in a school which would provoke a moral panic. Our target audience are interested in topics which cause this sense of moral panic which is why they would be attracted to our particular film.
