This document summarizes the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) ratings for different age groups:
- Films rated "U" have no conflict and very mild language for audiences age 4 and up.
- "PG" films allow mild language and sexual references but are not aimed at young children.
- "12A" films can contain infrequent strong language and sexual references suitable for teenagers.
- "15" films allow strong language, sexual activity, and realistic violence but no discrimination.
- "18" films contain explicit sex scenes, strong language, and graphic violence and are restricted to adults only.
