The Welioya resettlement project had the objective of providing houses to 850 families displaced by conflict. It constructed 856 houses in two phases, handing over 500 houses in the first phase and planning to construct 356 more houses in the second phase. The project also improved infrastructure like roads, electricity, irrigation, and schools. It aimed to enhance livelihoods by providing seeds, plants, and microcredit access. The project required funding, materials, and labor to achieve its goal of resettling families and improving their living standards after the conflict.
