The document provides instructions for a photography assignment. Students are asked to take 30 photos with a theme of their choosing and upload them to Instagram by May 7th. 3.  Please Register upload all of the pictures by
using Instagram. Make sure your apps is set
to public view. So I will search your page
according to the link that will giving to me.

4.  I had discussed about several element and
principle of photography. So at this stage,
you can use them to make your picture looks
better.
 Please make sure that you upload 30
images for this assignment. Maybe you can
choose the theme is up to you and according
to your creativity.

5. After uploading your assignment, I need to
know your page. For that, please make your
own form and submit hard copy for my
references.
Using Microsoft Word, please fill it with your
personal detail including your profile picture,
name, matrix no, phone number, faculty,
program, and the most important is your apps

6.  Please make a meaningful photograph in your
artistic point of view. Please look into unique
and esthetic part of your subject. Make it extra
ordinary.
 You can use any kind of camera including
camera phone
 You can put your watermark if you want to do
so.

7.  You can also make it black and white and
using any filter that provided by the apps.
But don’t over do, retouching it in minimal
way and just nice.
 You can pick any subject and I don’t care.
But please “surprised me”.

8.  Don’t doctored your picture to much. You might be
a doctor wannabe, but don’t doctored your picture
for this assignment. (Doctored means edit)
 Take images on the internet and claim that the
image is yours or take a photo from your friends
and claim them as yours is the great crime, if you
get caught you die. Plagiarism is serious crime in
academic. Don’t you ever try to do that.
(Die means : I will send a letter to the authority to
make you disqualify from this class)

9.  Safety issue is crucial. Don’t make your self
injured because of 40 marks
 Don’t use and send old picture. Set and fix
your camera date from now on.

10.  Try to learn and record your great photograph.
Don’t do this as an assignment. You will go
insane and stressful. Do it as your hobby and
put your heart in it.
 Rejection is normal. I will reject any work that
not up to the standard and you must do it again.
 Focus your target to get A.

11.  My rubric is so simple. I will give marks based on
overall picture.
 1- Understanding of the elements = 10 marks
 2- Beauty/Artistic/Esthetic of the photographs = 10
marks
 3- Creativity and student’s understanding on the
usage of apps and photography gear. = 10 marks
 4- The uniqueness of portfolio theme – 10 marks

12.  Make sure you upload your picture publically
before or on :
7 May 2017 and Submit your Detail on 3 May
2017

13.  You also can choose to make a short
creative video
 By using any video apps, you can edit and
upload the video on Youtube
 Be creative. You can make short film, testing
VFX apps, video advertisement or weird
creative video
 Don’t make it to long. 1 – 5 minutes is
consider ok.
