4. Enculturation â refers to the gradual acquisition of the
characteristics and norms of culture or group by a person, another
culture and etc.
- Starts with the actual exposure to another culture
Third Culture Shock â is a sample of enculturation
- Individuals who have stayed for a quite a good portion of their
lives in a foreign culture may be shocked by their birth culture once
exposed to it again.
