2. THE COMPREHENSIVE SCHOOL HEALTH PROGRAM
Today,
school health has evolved into what is termed a comprehensive school
health program (CSHP). The committee believes that the general goal of
a CSHP is to establish a system of home, school, and community
support to assure that students are provided with a planned sequential
program of study, appropriate services, and a nurturing environment that
promotes the development of healthy, well-educated, productive
citizens.
