Classroom assessment is a on going process of
identifying, gathering, organizing, and interpreting
quantitative and qualitative information about what learners
know and can do.(DepEd Order No. 8, s. 2015, 1)
Two Types of Assessment:
• Formative (assessment for learning)
• Summative (assessment as learning)
7. Revised Bloom’s Taxonomy
Popularized by Bloom in 1956, adapted by Anderson and Krathwohl in 2001, it refers to a way
to categorize reasoning skills based on the amount of critical thinking and reasoning
involved (Kelly, 2019)
8. DCT – SHS POLICY ON SPECIAL EXAMINATIONS
•Student who failed to take major examinations on schedule has the
option to take the special examination within the week after the
examination period.
•Secure an application form…accomplish the form…attached medical
certificate or letter from parents/ guardian or any proof pertaining to
such.
•Have the request approved by the concerned facilitator/s and to
arrange schedule for special examination.
