AB Nutribev Corporation selected Total Developpement and Management Inc. (TDM) to provide engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCM) services for their brownfield soy-based ready-to-drink manufacturing plant located in Cabuyao, Laguna, Philippines. The $38 million USD project involved the construction of a 30,000 square meter facility to produce soy milk and other beverages. TDM provided master planning, turnkey construction management services, and conceptual design services including architectural, civil, process, and packaging integration for the entire facility. The manufacturing plant was designed in two phases to allow for future production expansion up to 30,000 liters per hour.

Asia Brewery is a diversified beverage company of the LT Group Inc.
Among its beverage products are beer, bottled water, iced tea drinks, sports
drinks and alcohol mixes. In 2011, the company acquired Philippine
distribution rights for Vitamilk soy milk from Thailand's Green Spot
Company Ltd., with an option to manufacture the product under a joint-
venture agreement given certain sales milestones, thus the establishment of
AB Nutribev Corp.
AB Nutribev Corporation selected Total Developpement and Management

(EpCM) for their brownfield soya-based ready-to-drink manufacturing
plant.
The manufacturing facility comprises a 30,000 sq.m facility, located in
Cabuyao, Laguna, approximately 25kms. South of Manila.
The facility is designed for the phased production expansion as follows:
Phase 1: Consists of production, filling and warehousing capable of
producing 31500 RGB bottles per hour 1 (product throughput 10,000LPH).
Phase 2: The facility will be designed to allow for future expansion through
the installation of additional processing equipment and 2 x additional filling
lines up to 30,000LPH.
The project included the preparation and development of detailed
engineering design for the whole plant covering the architectural,
civil/structural, mechanical, electrical controls and plumbing; together with
the design coordination and integration of speciality process equipment.

The project tender management based upon an agreed Work Breakdown
Structure was completed in accordance with a fast track execution plan. This
methodology was adopted to allow procurement of critical and early works
packages in parallel with the engineering design development.
