        Gender
        Disability
        Race/ethnicity
        Religion
        Class/wealth
        Crime
        Age
        Sexuality

    1. Find a clip (around 4 minutes long) that has a strong showing of your given area of
representation. (you will lucky-dip the area in which you are creating a presentation on)
    2. Ask yourself a question about the clip- your question could be ‘How haveyouth& class been
represented in this Eastenders clip?’ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ti-wLOMp7Vk
    3. Create a survey of questions about your clip that lean towards answering your presentation
question. E.g. how would you describe Jay’s character in the Eastenders clip? (Multiple choice
answer/ on a scale of 1-10 is this a fair representation of youth? What social background do
you think Jay and his friends come from? (Essay Box answer)would you like Jayand his friends
to be part of your friendship group and why?.
    4. Find social stereotypes and characters from other TV shows and films that relate to the
       characters you are looking at.
    5. Answer your question in presentation format using screenshots of your clip, proof of
representation from your survey, images of social stereotypes and your own descriptions
       and annotations.
