Organization culture
‘Organization culture is the collection of relatively
uniform & enduring values, beliefs, customs, traditions &
practices that are shared by am organization’s members,
learned by new recruits, & transmitted from one
generation of employees to the next.’

Introduction to the organization
What is Combat Training School..?

• A military training school
• Located at Ampara
• Number of trainers are 36 Officers &
360 Other Rankers
• Capacity at present 800 students
VISSION
To uplift the combat preparedness of officers and soldiers of the Sri Lanka Army to
the highest professional standards by imparting skills, confidence and combat
efficiency which will empower them to anticipate and respond competently to the
challenges of war.

MISSION
To train officers and soldiers so as to uplift their individual skills and knowledge on
leadership, tactics, field craft, map reading and handling of weapons in order to groom
them to function effectively in combat, as professional soldiers.
