This document is a sponsorship proposal from the Evolution Dance Team, a university/college dance team in Durham Region, Ontario. The team is entering its second season and is made up of students and recent alumni from any GTA school. Last season they competed against other university teams with limited rehearsal time but were successful, winning awards. They are hoping to gain sponsors to help cover their estimated $6,840 budget for the upcoming season through various sponsorship levels with benefits like logo placement and recognition.

2. Profile
This is a brand new team for all college/university students and recent
alumni who live in the Durham Region area. We are going into our
second season after an AMAZING first this past 2010/2011 year.
Students from any school in the GTA, whether full time or part time,
can be a dancer on this team. This also includes alumni who have
graduated in the past 5 years.
There is no other team like this. We are the only team that allows part
time students and alumni to dance, as well as compete against the
colleges and universities across Ontario.
Our team competed in three Ontario-wide university competitions this
past season. We took on competition such as Ryerson, Queens,
Humber and Ottawa.
Our budget last year only allowed us to rehearse 45 min per week, per
routine, considering most schools we compete against rehearse
several days a week, if not every day come competition season. Even
with the lack of rehearsal time, we still manage to walk away with
several choreography awards, as well as a first and second overall
award.
We are for students, run by students. We plan rehearsals, arrange
fundraisers, make costumes, choreograph, as well as go to school and
work.
Last season, we managed to fundraise $1800. This was just enough to
pay for our rental space for the season. All other expenses were paid
out by the dancers themselves.
This season, we are hoping to minimize costs for the dancers by
gaining sponsors who believe in us. Dance is not always considered a
sport, but we work just as hard, train just as hard, and have the
competitive strive.
We all have a passion that we want to continue through into our adult
lives. You can be a part of making that possible.

Why Sponsor?
Corporate and business sponsorship is a major source of funding for
many team sports, whether professional or community based.
Being a team sponsor shows that you not only believe in your business
but you believe in community involvement and activity.
Sponsoring opens many doors for a business or corporation. It not
only shows the community involvement, but it markets your business
to groups that may not otherwise use your services.
When a team strives, you know you helped them achieve their goals.
SPONSORSHIP PROGRAMS
Bronze Sponsorship
Requirements:
• Cash/product donation in the value range of $150.00 - $499.00
• Product accepted if scheduled event where product can be used for
raffle or prize item.
• Product must have no expiry date less than one year.
Benefits:
• Logo and company/business information on our website.
• Logo and company/business name in current year pamphlet.
• Logo on team fundraising t-shirts.
• If donation/sponsorship is a product, company/business information as
well as documentation of your choice at event to which your product
will be used.

4. Silver Sponsorship
Requirements:
• Cash/product donation in the value range of $500.00 - $999.00
• Product accepted if scheduled event where product can be used for
raffle or prize item.
• Product must have no expiry date less than one year.
Benefits:
• Logo and company/business information on our website.
• Logo and company/business name in current year pamphlet.
• Logo on team fundraising t-shirts.
• If donation/sponsorship is a product, company/business information as
well as documentation of your choice at event to which your product
will be used.
• Company logo on all current year team print media.
• Company logo/business information in view at all current year team
events.
Gold Sponsorship
Requirements:
• Cash donation of $1000.00+
Benefits:
• Logo and company/business information on our website, for as long as
team is running.
• Business contact information and website link on team website.
• Logo and company/business name in pamphlet for two seasons.
• Logo on team fundraising t-shirts.
• Company logo on all current year team print media.
• Company logo/business information in view at all team events for two
seasons.
• Company/business print media available at current year team events.
• Company/business name announced as a “thank you” at all team
events.
• Company logo professionally printed on team jackets (which will be
worn for up to 3 seasons).
