This document discusses the importance and benefits of practicing silence. It provides reasons why silence is important, such as enabling gratitude and strength. It also gives tips on how to practice silence, such as setting aside time each day for meditation and focusing on breathing. Examples are given of important figures from history who spoke out against injustice and how the world may be different if they had remained silent. The overall message is that practicing silence allows us to better connect with God and understand our purpose.
The Prophets and prophecies are recorded through out the Bible from genesis to Revelation: from Noah, to King David, from John the Baptist to Jesus to the lesser known prophets in the early church. The prophets communicate God's messages different ages and can have multiple fulfillments.
This sermon explores how we can go about deepening our faith. It contains numerous quotes and insights from John Ortberg's book, "If you want to walk on water you've got to get out of the boat."
In talking about the humanity of Christ we must not rely on our reason alone rather we look in the eyes of faith so that we may see the truth clearly. On the other hand, we cannot separate the reason and faith for they must go hand in hand.
As St. Augustine says, faith seeks understanding. Moreover, scripture presents to us the evidences to prove the humanity of Christ. This will be our guide to have an idea on the life of Christ. In addition, the truth by which our early fathers of the church passed on to us will be part of this topic. The error of the teaching of some early Christians will also be included.

The parable of the Sower reminds us that we are grow and be fruitful. The parable of the mustard seed reminds us that the church is to grow. Are we growing with God’s growth? Paul’s letter to the Ephesians points us in the right direction for God’s growth: following God’s plan; growing in faith, love, hope, wisdom, and power; and bearing fruit.

The Book of Isaiah contains some of the most detailed and revealing prophecies about Jesus. God reveals to Isaiah that the Messiah will come first as a servant who will die for the sins of the people and will come again to rule the world.

Silence, Lines, Fractals, and Woven Operationsvictoria meyers
Silence is based on Zero Carbon Footprint, as well as a lack of sound; A Line is a Concept about a series of points with zero mass, but also stretching to infinity, in two directions; Fractals are complex equations that pertain to most living things, and nature; Woven Operations are ways that Architects and others can create Invisibility, by blending various operations together. Silence, Lines, Fractals and Woven Operations are applied and discussed in selected hMa projects presented by Victoria Meyers at the University of Puerto Rico School of Architecture, March 2015.

How to observe silence
Old Testament is a record of life as it proceeds after dissolution but there have been countless number of dissolutions. So imagine the amount of experience that we carry with us. It is a huge record lying in seed form at causal for each one of us. We carry that record with us as conscious faculty of mind.
When I give a Relflections On Life Workshop, I design the second Slide Show for a specific group. This version is designed for Inter Faith groups but I adapt it and use slides from it as the \'framework\' for all the workshops. This version is quite \'serious.\' It includes images and quotations not just from the six major religions but also from Bah\'ai, Jain, Rastafarian and Native American sources. I would love to get some feedback and suggestions of other inspiring quotations which I could include.
Many people like watching the original Reflections on Life slide show to de-stress, almost as a meditation. I like to use this version in the same way. It never ceases to inspire me and restore my focus and perspective, especially if things have been getting me down. Life is beautiful. It is mysterious. There is meaning in every incident. We are here to learn and every experience is an opportunity to learn something important and deepen our relationship not just with each other but also with the One from whom we all came and (so I believe) to Whom we will return.
Do send me some feedback, to info@bluelotus.coand invite me to come and give your group or community one of my fantastic workshops.
After examining the promised-and-coming apostasy from the faith of believers in the End Times, you may be wondering. "Are these apostate-type people losing their salvation" and, even more pointedly, "Can I lose my salvation?" Let's examine this before we move into Revelation and really get stressed out by challenges!
A creative report of a 3-day charrette (29-31 March, 2013) at The Gnostic Centre, to focus on Academy of the Future (a consciousness based university of tomorrow). Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…
In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

3. Hans Jean Arp a German – French sculptor, painter and poet says, “Soon Silence will have passed into legend. Man has turned his back on silence. Day after day he invents machines and devices that increase noise and distract humanity from the essence of life, contemplation, meditation.”
4. Practice Silence Most of us know how to say nothing; few of us know when to let our silence speak louder. C. Krosky The Practice Of Silence has to do with every part of our system. There is a silence of the body, silence of the mind and silence of the heart.Until all these are tranquilized, we can not know what true silence is. Silence is much more than the absence of sound; it is the autonomous pre-existing entity in which God creates. It is the source to which all words return to attain true meaning.
5. Practice Silence – 7 Reasons Silence enables one to see the beauty of the things that is around and within us. Silence allows us to develop gratitude - for the opportunities, for the possibilities, for the abilities n disabilities, etc. Silence clears the path for strength, optimism and fulfillment. Silence enables one to connect to his/her original creative potential Silence allows us to question and comprehend God’s purpose for our life Silence enables us to let go of bad thoughts and put them into a different place in our mind Silence is the most powerful tool of speech. Silence is an action. It often speaks louder than words.
6. How to Practice Silence? Set aside 10 to 30 minutes for silence and meditation. Make an intention to benefit spiritually from observing silence. Remove distractions. Turn off your radio, television, computer and cell phone. Create a suitable atmosphere. Assume a comfortable position and close your eyes. Focus on your breath and return to your breathing if your mind fills with chatter. During Inhalation - Imagine your self filling with love and light. Allow your thoughts, feelings and subtle movements to be transformed into pure, positive energy and purposeful silence. During Exhalation - Release your will. Visualize any harmful attitudes, beliefs or self-destructive patterns exiting your body. Stay silent, relaxed and receptive as long as you can. Record random insights, divinely guided messages or inspired ideas in your journal.

27. The religious freedom we enjoy today is coz Martin Luther set out to correct the errors. His philosophy of SCRIPTURE ONLY is adopted by many Churches as their fundamental belief. What if these men were silent?? History records that Mahatma chose not to be silent. He walked the length and breath of India and told the truth to the masses. The truth he told the millions was, you don’t have to be ruled by foreigners. You can rule yourself. Martin Luther Junior King spoke against segregation and refused to be considered lower than other humans. Four decades later, Americans proved that people will not be judged by colour but by their character.
28. SPEAK when abused. SPEAK against abuse. Tolerating abuse will lead to more abuse. Know your rights. Stand up for your rights. “Oppression can only survive through silence.” Carman de Monteflores
29. “Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.” Martin Luther King Jr.

31. God knows you ... Your needs, dreams ... He has numbered your hair.
32. Come into His presence in silence & get to know Him.
33. You will witness His power, understand His ways and be drawn into His steadfast love. “Converse with men makes sharp the glittering wit, But God to man doth speak in solitude.” John Stuart Blackie
34. Silence & Seeing God “Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord.” Ex. 14:13 * Silence opens your spiritual eye enables you to See. * As you see Him you will remain silent ... You will not panic or act ... You will allow Him to fight your battles. Those who have learnt to see God , see everything … everybody through His eyes.
