 Student Objectives/Learning Outcomes
 At the end of the unit pupils will be able to achieve with at least 75% accuracy:

 1. Define a habitat.

 2. Identify the components of an aquatic habitat.

 3. Explore the four types of aquatic habitats.

 This will require more than one lesson. The four types of aquatic habitats include the pond, lake, sea
 and ocean.

 4. Classify animals that live in each aquatic habitat.

 5. Classify plants that live in each aquatic habitat.

 Each aquatic habitat will be taught as a separate unit. For example when teaching the pond – what it
  is, an example of, plants and animals that live in it, where it can be found, how is it made.

Identify the components of an aquatic habitat. 3. Explore the four types of aquatic habitats. This will require more than one lesson. The four types of aquatic habitats include the pond, lake, sea and ocean. 4. Classify animals that live in each aquatic habitat. 5. Classify plants that live in each aquatic habitat. Each aquatic habitat will be taught as a separate unit. For example when teaching the pond – what it is, an example of, plants and animals that live in it, where it can be found, how is it made.
