Brother Knights;
The month of October has come and gone. The good news is that we are right where we need to be in the running for the “Circle of Honor”. To put it in perspective we are somewhere in the range of 26% to 28% of our intake goal for the month alone. That’s right! This is your “Team” and you can do it! Thank you to all who have made our small State shine. I ask that all councils stay involved in their church and communities. Be as active as you can be. Look for new ways by thinking “Outside of the Box”. Try to focus on programs will help draw new members in and bring members back. Ask your membership team and council members what type of programs they would like to run and see in their communities. Both the State Membership Director and I have traveled extensively throughout the State and the one thing that I have noticed in each of the Councils is, Pride within each Council. Remember these are the types of enthusiasm that will prevail and get us through the hard times. Remember you can do it. Recruitment Drives in every parish that you cover can offer new opportunities along with “Open Houses” and “informational Nights”, and using those time to offer other opportunities, like after Mass or later in the afternoons or after Mass. Whether your Council is small or large you all have a huge part on our “Team”. www.kofc.org www.kofc399.org www.esgjrconsultinginc.com to learn more

L i s a G r o o m s
Well folks, we have made it into April, and cruise in season is just around the
corner. We are moving the cruise ins this year to the parking lot at Kmart, at
305 W Economy Road, in the middle of Morristown. I really feel that this move
is necessary and hopefully will/can bring us back together and enjoy the cruise
ins as they were meant to be. I will be getting together with the planning com-
mittee soon to start planning our activities for the year. There will be at least
one per month, maybe two.
Car shows are revving up, I wasn’t able to attend the show at Witt Baptist, as I
decided it was time to start going through some things, but I did visit, and it
seemed to be a nice show. We have upcoming, the show Downtown (May 14th
)
and the FOP show (May 21st
) at Fred Miller Park. Hope to see you there.
Our club has yet again felt the pain of loss, Sharon Myers passed away after a
long and courageous battle. She will be sorely missed by the club as she was a
true asset and friend to many. I wish I could have gotten to know her more, she
was a precious lady. My thoughts are with Merle and the family as well as they
are still with Juanita. It has been a year since we lost Mary Nell (March) and
Dwayne (April), and of course, I don’t want to even think about July, as it will
be a year since we lost Butch. My love to all these families and to all that is left
with losses.
I want to start something new for the newsletter, if you have any type of an-
nouncement, whether it is wishing someone a happy birthday, congratulations
(marriage, birth, award), just anything. It doesn’t have to be you specifically, it
could be someone in your family. Now I know that there are grandkids out
there. We are a family and one I am very proud to continue to be a part of.
Much love and happiness to All!!
