L i s a G r o o m s
Welcome to July, not a month that I am particularly happy to see as it will be a
year since we lost Butch. I want to begin by saying how much I appreciate your
confidence in me as Vice President to re-elect me to that position. I know that I
have struggled at times, but my HCCC family has been right there with me to
help and direct me in the way that I should go. I so, so appreciate that.
Just a couple of things that I want to talk about (1) the car club website – there
was one thing that Butch wanted to make happen on the website and that was a
memorial hall of fame page for the members who had passed away. I want so
much to make this page happen, if you would like to have a photo of your loved
one placed on this page, please send it to me at lgrooms8@gmail.com or bring it
by the cruise in and I will make sure it that it gets put on there. (2) the cruise ins
– I just want to thank each and every one of you for making our cruise ins such a
success. The participation has been amazing week after week. I have heard
many compliments about the cruise ins even from those who just pass by and
see all the vehicles there. (3) newsletter – I want to make the newsletter more
personable, if you any family news, such as a birth, graduation, wedding or any-
thing for that matter that you would like to share with the club, just let me know.
There are many car shows coming up and don’t forget about the Friday night
cruise ins at Colbach Harley Davidson on the second Friday, at Classic Leathers
on the third Friday and Mossy Creek is at Big Lots in Jefferson City every Fri-
day night.
Please remember HCCC members Billy Seals, Paul and Betty McClain who
have had
deaths in the
family as well
as all those
who may be
having health
issues at this
time. Keep
them in your
thoughts and
prayers.
Much love
and happiness
to all!!
Lisa
