President’s Letter—February 2016- William Bailey
Well it is February, so we can put 2016 Winter Angel Expo behind us. It was a big
show and I’d like to tack the time to thank everybody who helped out on the car
show and all support, without everybody working together as a team the car club
cannot put the show on and look forward for the Winter Angel Expo 2017. Be
thinking of what we can do to make the show better. And do not forgot the Saturday
night cruise in at the mall beginning the first Saturday night in May and all the car
shows in 2016.

Well, it is now February, the Winter Angel Expo was a success and we are shift-
ing gears to get ready for the cruise ins to begin.
Unfortunately, we have had to deal with sadness once again in our car club fami-
ly. Don McGinnis in the passing of his sister, and the passing of one of our own,
Bob Reynolds. Please keep these families as well as those who are dealing with
health issues at this time, in your thoughts and prayers. Death can be so hard to
handle at times, but I am so glad to have my car club family for the support and
love that they show each and every time it is truly needed. You guys are the
greatest!!!
I have been thinking a lot about the cruise ins and how we might spice them up a
little. I will be discussing some of the ideas at our next club meeting, which is
scheduled for Tuesday, February 16th
at the Golden Corral, hope to see you
there. In working together, we can make some great things happen and usually
do!!
My sincere appreciation to Jerry, Terry, John, Ted, Paul and all those who
worked so hard and diligent to ensure the success of the Winter Angel Expo, I
have to say that Butch would have been and is very proud. Although, we were
down in participation in relation to vehicles, I believe over all it was absolutely
fantastic. The ice cream truck was a tremendous hit, and the show cars were
beautiful. I also would like to give a great big THANK YOU to Elmer Blanken
in getting Junebug there for me. Man, it was hard seeing that car sitting there
and not seeing Butch, but it was something that I definitely needed to do.
So, let’s start thinking about what we want to do at our cruise ins to make them
more inviting, planning of our fun runs for the year and just the wonderful fel-
lowship with all.
Love each and every one of you with all my heart!!
