Eddy Cue, a senior vice president, talked about Apple Pay, which uses NFC, “the 
standard for all contactless payments.” 
Privacy is also paramount, Mr. Cue 
says. “We are not in the business of 
collecting your data.”
Apple Pay is Payment Solution, Not only NFC! 
Apple Pay creates a one-time device-only number instead of using the assigned credit card 
number so if your phone is stolen, you can suspend the payments without needing to cancel 
your credit card.

“You also have the security and convenience of TouchID,”, referring to the fingerprint sensor.

Apple Said to Reap Fees From Banks in New Payment System 
Banks typically collect fees from merchants for each credit card transaction that they process. 
According to the Financial Times, Apple is believed to be receiving a transaction fee of about
