The Otago Polytechnic EduBits team was approached by an airline company to credential sales training for their sales staff. Their objective was to ensure transference of learning to the workforce, measure the impact of the training, and to create a transparent career path for employees via credentialing.
Learner-centred assessment design was utilised. Evidence for assessment was obtained via API integration with the company’s CRM system to minimise the impact on staff workload and allow the learner to build their portfolio of evidence naturally as they worked. The impact of this programme and learnings from it will be discussed, along with future global projects which have resulted from this. "
